Her name was Illya, daughter of Marcus the old farmer. Her mother died when she was giving birth to her. Her father has raised her ever since with love.

His name was Prince Phillip, born heir of the throne of the Brave Kingdom. The son of the finest King their kingdom has seen and the son of their lovely queen who has the purest of hearts.

Now, it was that time of the day when Illya would go out in search of food to sell.

She bade her father goodbye who was attending to their chickens and set out bringing with her satchel and a bow and arrows. With her trusted boots and dirty hands, she entered the wild forest alert and calm.

She went to her usual spot checking her snare if she had caught any. Sure enough there was a turkey caught by the trap. That would give her a good price to sell later. Up ahead, she found a hog caught by one of her traps in the underbush. This day has gotten luckier.

As she removed the hog from the trap, she noticed a sudden movement. Illya went completely still. A deer gracefully enters the scene with all of its mighty glory. It basked in the sun not knowing that eyes are watching it.

Illya stood up slowly ready to strike with her bow and arrow.

On the other side of the deer stood a man. He was watching the deer with his chocolate brown eyes. Hidden among the trees, he watched the beauty of the deer. That would indeed be one prized possession to carry back to the kingdom.

As he was poised to strike, out came an arrow from the underbush of the other side. He held his breath. The arrow struck the deer and with one strike, the deer fell down all of its glory gone.

Out of the underbush came Illya claiming her victory.

The man shook his head and smilingly left the place.
