Ch 1: 13 Years Later

[ Nashi POV ]

"Ugh! Where is it?!" I was looking for the key I stole from Nash yesterday but couldn't find it!

(Nashi uses dragon slayer magic but can still use the zodiac keys, same with Nash but he chooses to just use the keys)

Knock Knock Knock

"Nashi! I know you took Virgo! But for what I have no clue, just give her back!" Nash keeps banging on my door and now I'm annoyed!

I opened the door then punched him in the stomach. "I'm looking for it, now stop banging on my door!" I shouted at him. I saw dad sitting in the living room quietly just looking at a picture in his hands. Then I remembered, I quickly took out my phone to see the date. "Oh my gosh! Nash..."

I started crying remembering what today is. "Nashi? What's wrong?" I gave him my phone and pointed to today's date. "It's today? I can't believe I forgot!"

Nash hugged me tightly and started crying. Today 13 years ago our mother died saving us! "Sh-she saved us but we forgot!" I broke the hug then walked to our father who was always so happy until today's date comes. "Dad, are you ok?" He looked up from the picture and smiled at me and my bother

His eyes got teary. "I-I should have protected her! It's all my fault that she's gone!" He grabbed us and hugged us as if we were leaving for college or something. "Your mom loved you both so much, don't ever forget that!"

We nodded. Of course, we know, and yes we will never forget! "Dad please go rest, you need to take a break from work and crying!" Nash told him as he tried to contain his own tears

Dad got up and smiled. "I love you both so much, Lucy would be so proud of you both" He walked to his bedroom and closed the door behind himself

I looked over to Nash. "You know crying isn't a bad thing today?" He nodded. "So please don't keep your feelings locked up"

Ring Ring Ring

My phone was ringing so I answered. "Hello?" I asked cause I'm too lazy to check the caller ID

"It's me Storm, I was just wondering if you might want to go on a date with me this afternoon?"

Did Storm just ask me out?! He's so cute but I can't, not today at least. "Sorry but today I cant"

He didn't say anything for a while. "Nashi, I know what today is and I think you need a break! So please just let me take you out"

I hesitated but finally said. "Sure, is 12:30 good?"

I was quick to answer. "Yes! Anytime is good for me. Bye and see you later!"

I hung up and saw that Nash was looking at me smiling. "W-what is it?"

"You're blushing. Was it maybe perhaps have something to do with Storm?" I chuckled and punched him in the arm

I turned around and pouted. "It doesn't matter! Now if you don't mind I'll be going now!"

[ Natsu POV ]

"Luce I'm so sorry I couldn't save you! Hopefully, you're happy where you are now!" I laid back onto my bed as I closed my eyes. "I love you so much my love" and with that, I fell asleep
