Summer Vacation

Chapter 1

"Nine more minutes to get through, then it's finally summer vacation." I thought to myself, as I looked at the clock, that read 1:51.

"Earth to Ally?" My best friend Veronica waved in front of my face.

"Y-Yes, Yeah?!" She snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Want to hang with Ethan and Thomas tonight?" She questioned excitedly. Her brown eyes opened widely.

"No, I just want to chill home tonight" I shrugged.

"NO, YOU'RE NOT!" She screamed at me!

"SHHHHH...." Ms. Patty, our Spanish teacher shushed Veronica.

" It's basically the start of summer vacation. You are going out, even if I have to drag your hair out the door. Plus, Ethan is going to be there...." She smirked at me, as she nudged my arm.

"Fine" I rolled my eyes.

"YES!" She squealed.

"SHHHH" Ms. Patty once again shushed her, glaring at her.

Veronica is coming to pick me up at seven. So, I have to start getting ready. I turned up my stereo and went inside my bathroom to take a shower. I grabbed my comb and started singing my favorite song as it played. A few minutes after my shower, I wrapped myself in my robe, and my hair in a towel, and walked to my room.

"You have an amazing voice" a familiar voice spoke, making me jump in surprise.

"What the hell Thomas! Get out of my room!" I stomped.

He chuckled as he walked close to me, looking me up and down, then out of my room and back down stairs. I locked my room door behind him and sighed.

"What should I wear?" I thought to myself. I wanted to impress Ethan, but I literally have nothing to wear. I finally decided on what to wear after ten minutes. I decided to put on my favorite royal blue dress, with white flowers. I straighten my hair and put on some light makeup. I went downstairs and there I saw Veronica flirting with Thomas. Veronica has liked Thomas since freshman year of high school. But honestly, he shows no interest in her what's so ever, sadly. All I want is for my best friend to be happy.

"Woah," I saw Thomas' eyes fixed on me, and Veronica looked at him in surprise.

"Oh my god, this is so awkward." I thought to myself.

"Um..." I was saved by the doorbell thank God.

I don't want Veronica to think that I'm trying to steal Thomas away from her in any way. Besides, I like Ethan. I really like Ethan.

"Ethan!" I said a little too happy. But, in my defense I was pretty happy to see him. His dark brown curly hair, his beautiful hazel eyes, his pearly white smile, that made me weak to my knees, his built athletic body, that every girl was mesmerized to look at.

"So, cute" I whispered, in front of him, making my cheeks as red as firemen's truck. Oh jeez, did I say that out loud?

"You look cute too" he chuckled and wrapped his muscular arms around me, making me feel safe.

"What's the hold up out there? " Thomas yelled out, ruining my perfect moment. Ethan quickly let go of me and closed the door behind him. Seems like Thomas is always ruining every moment I have with Ethan.
