Let's face it, telling a councilor that wanted to change your class schedule is weird. It's especially weird if you are, or were class president and just so happen to also be resigning.
"What?" Mr.Beez asked.
"I will no longer be class president, and I want to pursue drama," it was one of the hardest sentences I ever had to say, because I knew it was heart breaking.
Yes, I know it sounds a bit arrogant and egotistical, but he was also the leadership teacher and he told me I was his favorite. He literally told me his heart would break if I left my presidency. So yeah, breaking a teacher's heart.
"Ms.Summers, you can't be serious," he started to rub his temples, then stopped,"our drama program is award winning, believe me I know, but you aren't exactly one to fit in there."
"I'll be fine," I told him," I've got Connor," I pulled Connor next to me smiling.

"While Mr.Evans is an example of the people you will find in there, he truly isn't the worst," he started rubbing his temples again. Jeez, that was starting to bug me.
God Mr.Beez, can't you let her go? He wasn't getting into her pants like he did every junior class president.
I know it's a horrible thing to think a teacher/councilor would do, but he always did it. They were usually girls but just two years ago Bryan Dales was his junior class president and told me all about it. Since his first presidency freshmen year Mr.Beez told him he was his favorite in leadership and he treated him all special, then in his junior year one day Mr.Beez asked him to help him grab stuff for the dance that night. Mr.Beez gave him something he couldn't refuse. Bryan wasn't really the kind of guy to get girls, so when Mr.Beez offered to give him a blow job it was something he couldn't say no to.
Then there was Clarissa Donavan. She was the president junior year after Bryan. I met her at a party and we made out, she tasted like beer and cigarets. She wanted to take it further and I told her no. Like I said, I don't just have sex with girls and ignore them after, yeah, yeah, the bad boy with a heart. Anyways when I told her no she talked about how I wasn't a real man and the story of her and Mr.Beez.
The next words leaving her mouth shocked me,"Mr.Beez just let me join drama or I will leave this school to join Lake Jackson's drama program. I hear they are getting better, and you know how well I can act Mr.Beez."
"Ms.Summers, we are all aware how great of an actress you are after your last minute fill in for Molly Janekens in last springs play, you wouldn't dare shake hands with the enemy, much less join them."
Lake Jackson, our biggest rival. We almost lost against them in drama regionals last year, and with nerd girl they'd have everything needed to finally beat us. I always hated to admit it but she was a great actress. She was better than Molly Janekens any day. When we were kids our parents had us take acting classes together. We both loved the theater, and her mom saw it as another extra extra curricular.
"Really Mr.Beez," she grabbed her phone out of her pocket," cause I think I'll just call my mother right now."
"Ms.Summer!" He rose his voice.
"Mr.Beez!" She mimicked his tone.
"Ms.Summers you will regret this one day, and possibly one day soon, but fine," we changed her schedule and walked out of school.
"Nice, you weren't really going to take us down right?" I asked because it concerned my area of expertise.
"Nah, just a bluff," she was always good with those.
