When You're Gone

Nao Sakura

It’s been two hours since Maki took you away and Nao’s been using all his influences to find you.

He hired a professional to check Maki’s household and it should be the time for him to call.

Nao’s phone rang and he wasted no time to pick up the phone.

“Did you find her?” Nao questioned, urgency and authority was evident in his tone.

“She’s not in the mansion, sir.” A deep voice answered on the other side.

That’s all Nao needed to confirm his suspicion.

His face twisted into a small grin as he went to the abandoned sides of the mansion.

The adrenaline coursing through his body is sufficient to take down Maki’s minions. He needed to let out his bloodlust once in awhile specially now that his queen’s safety was threatened.

Makoto Ritsu

“Where the f*ck is she?!” a white-haired boy yelled at his father.

“Makoto, you need to calm down.” A man with graying hair said before straightening his body into a better posture after his son grabbed his collar.

You’ve been missing for three days now and Makoto’s sanity will leave him if he won’t find you soon.

“Y/N was taken away from me by that d*mn b*stard, father.” Makoto said in a dangerously low voice.

“You will never find her in that state, Makoto. Stop threatening and lashing out on anyone you saw.” His father remained calm.

He’s been there when his wife is alive, his wife is an adventurer and would always go missing. He learned that staying calm will greatly help.

Makoto's eyes are bloodshot from the lack of sleep and his skin is paler than usual. He’s probably not eating because of the growls his stomach is making but he looks like he doesn’t feel it.

“Sit here and eat. I’ll help you.” Mr. Ritsu gestured at the chair and went out of his office.

He made his way to where the documents are while carefully dodging the bodies lying in the ground.

Pained groans and moans resonate throughout the hallway. His son really can’t keep his cool.

Does he think he can bring her back by torturing these people?

Mr.Ritsu chuckled at his son’s action.

Ai Tachibana

Ai spent the first day calming him by slaughtering some unwanted people (for him).

He then proceeded to gather all books about mermaids, their kingdoms and witches.

Having enough knowledge, he went to the nearest witch in the place.

“So you wanted this potion?” a gentle voice said.

“Yes.” Ai replied as his eyes sparked with contained rage. He’s decided that he would kill the lady in front of him if she wouldn’t give what he wants.

“I suppose you know the condition for this magic.” She replied, twirling some of her pink hair after she read Ai’s mind.

Ai nod as a response before he took the potion the witch unenthusiastically gave.

“I really don’t understand why a neko would do this much for a mermaid. She stroked you that hard?” the witch teased as she giggled loudly but she kept her distance from the distressed cat.

Ai did not pay any attention on the witch, he got what he came for. Staying here longer means wasting time he could have use retrieving you.

Losing my eyesight is tolerable than losing her. For Y/N I would give anything.
