Chapter 1 - (Cat's POV)

My dad was helping my mom carry down our couch for our new living room. I was just on my phone, leaning on the moving truck.

"Cat, honey, can you get your mirror and also your skateboard?" my mom asked me.

"Kay mom!" I said as I was putting away my phone in my back pocket of my jeans. I got my circle mirror to hang up on the wall.

Our new house looked pretty big. It had a nice front yard with really green grass. Our house even had a pool outside the backyard!

I carried my mirror up to my new room. It was so cool. Me had moved from Washington to California. Not Washington D.C.

I looked in my full length mirror. Today I was wearing high waisted shorts with a black muscle tee and a reddish colored beanie. My

hair was straight. I was wearing my black vans today.

(Keaton's POV)

I heard something coming from outside and went downstairs to go check what it was all about. Wes was already there, checking.

"Hey dude, I think someone moved to the house that was empty! Finally. I hope it's a hot girl!" Wes told me.

Like always, he would care about girls.

When the most beautiful girl walked outside to her front yard, I felt like I was going to faint.

"Spying on the new girl?" The girl said, coming towards us.

"No! No! We just heard a bunch on noise and we both went down here to see what it was."

"Sure... So, you guys live here?" She asked, pointing to our house.

"Yup." I said.

"Cool. Oh! I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Cat." she said. Even her name sound beautiful.

"My name is Keaton and this is Wes. We're brothers." I explained.

"Cat!" Someone called Cat's name.

"Coming mom!" Cat called back.

"Well, it was good chatting with you. I have to go to school so someone could give me a tour. Bye." Cat said as she was leaving.

"Bye." Me and Wes called out.

(Cat's POV)

I fixed my hair because it got a little bit messy.

We were going to school so that someone could give me a tour.

Once we arrived to the school, I knew it would be boring. But then I saw that Keaton guy.

"Hey." I said to him. He saw me.

"Oh, hey Cat. I didn't know I was going to give you a tour. I thought it would be someone else." Keaton said.

"I could get another tourist." I said.

"No!"

I raised my eyebrows at him but I just went with it.

He gave me and my family a tour which consisted of my mom, dad, big sister Taylor, and little brother Max.

When we were about to leave, I pretended I was right behind my family but I went back and kissed Keaton on the cheek.

"Bye." I said and he said the same. I'm pretty sure he was shocked. I could tell by his face expressions.
