Seoul hurried along the docks of Britain. He tried his best to avoid the puddles from the recent rain. Basil, Seoul's younger brother called after him. "Will you wait up? There could be a dog or something around here!" Seoul rolled his eyes, "Basil were is your sense of adventure?" He watched the humans carry boxes of different things. Seoul had always been fascinated by the two legged creatures. Basil pulled on Seoul's tail, "Come on you! Let's hunt and get out of here!

Seoul sighed and walked with his brother. He looked back over his shoulder and stared at one of the huge ships. Sometimes he liked to imagine that he was on one of the ships. He smiled at the thought and then hurried to catch up with Basil. His brother turned his head and meowed, "Look around and see what you can find." The the small brown cat hurried away.

Seoul sighed and then started scavenging for scraps of food. He jumped up on a box that was on the ground and scanned his surroundings. He saw a small piece of meat a little ways away and leapt off the box and dashed for the small piece of food. Once he reached it he ate the food in one bite. Seoul then realized how hungry he actually was. On some days Seoul would get lucky, and the humans would give him pieces of their lunches. He walked over to a man standing by a crate and began purring and rubbing up against his legs.

"Just a small piece of food? A little bread crumb maybe?" He meowed to the man. But to Seoul's surprise, the man kicked at him and spoke harshly. Seoul knew when he wasn't wanted and darted away. "What an unpleasant person!" He mewed to himself.

Then a bone chilling bark sounded behind Seoul. He felt the fur along his spine rise. Then very slowly turned to see a huge dog a behind him. His heart began to thud and before he could think of what to do, the dog came running towards him. Seoul was terrified, and turned to run away from the huge beast. "Basil! Basil help me!" He cried out for his brother.

The dog chased Seoul towards one of the ships. He's going to try and corner me! Seoul thought to himself. He stopped for a split second then saw that he could jump onto the ship and escape the dog. He ran towards the ship, and jumped as high as he could. He gasped as he landed safely on the ship. He had done it!

The dog stared up at the ship and whined. Seoul laughed at the dog and said triumphantly, "Looks like your not having cat for lunch today!" He purred and licked his paw. The dog glared up at him, "Next time cat, you won't be able to gloat!" Then got up and trotted off. Seoul snorted, as he watched the dog go.

He then spotted Basil on one of the boxes and he waved a paw at his brother, "I escaped a dog Basil! I actually-" he cut off as he felt the ship begin to pull away from the docks. Basil hissed, "Oh Seoul look what you've done now! Hurry and jump, you can make it!" Seoul peered over the ship and gazed down at the murky sea. "Basil I won't make it!" He cried as the ship began to pull further away from the docks.

He watched Basil pace back and forth then his brother cried out desperately, "Seoul come back! Please come back!" Seoul called back, "But Basil it's so far! I don't know how I'd make it back!" Fear gripped him as he went farther and farther from his brother.

Will we ever see each other again? Seoul wondered. He jumped down onto the ships deck and sat down, sadly. He had really messed up, hadn't he? Seoul had no clue where he was going and the way the ship rocked back and forth on the sea made Seoul feel sick. A young boy walked past Seoul then stopped and looked back at the poor cat.

The boy smiled then bent down to look at the young Bengal cat. He reached into his pocket and pulled out some great smelling food. Seoul looked up at the boy curiously, he was surprised that the boy hadn't tried to pick him up. He generously took the food the boy offered.
