Chapter 11

"You two look so cute together!" My mom said to Lucy and I. We've been at this party thing for a while handing out champagne and small snack thingd to everyone for quite a while. Its been a few hours and we have a few more to go.

"Thank you Mrs. Dragneel. I honestly wasn't expecting us to look so well in white suits," Lucy smiled and responded. We had white suits on that we're very uncomfortable. I couldn't move my arms much and Lucy's didn't fit very well around her chest area.

"Your welcome. How about you two take a break. It looks like you guys need one," My mom said as she left us.

"Yes!" I cheered as I set fown a tray of cocktail weiners and sat down. Lucy followed my took of her shoes with a sigh of relief.

"To make this break would be if I could change out of this suit and get a different pair of shoes that weren't heels," Lucy said. I shook my head in agreement. I also couldn't wait to get out of my suit.

"Say wanna get away from here for a but to get stuff that is more comfortable?" I asked. Luckily I knrw where a mall is near us. Lucy looked at me confused for asking her this.

"Won't your mom or dad catch us?" Lucy asked.

"No, they're going to be too busy making deals to notice we're gone. Also we won't be gone long. There's a malls not too far from here," I replied. She shook her head yes. I waited for her to put her heals back on and then we started to head off.

Sadly we were stopped by Wendy who caught us at the exit. She was lucky, unlike Lucy and I, she was wearing a nice dark blue dress yjat looked comfortable. She walked over to us and just stood there like we needed to spill the beans of wjat we are doing.

"We're going to the mall to change into some different clothing. You can come if you promise not to tell mom," I said to Wendy. She shook her head saying nothing and followed us out.

We arrived at the mall shortly and spent about 20 minutes shopping. Lucy grabbed a pair of purple shorts, a white shirt, and pair of black boots, and a long black jacket thing. I grabbed a nice white dress shirt and a pair of black slacks.

When we arrived back it looked like no one noticed we were gone. Thank God. Lucy and I went back to wgere we were before we left, picked up our tray of things and then went back to serving people things.

Time skip to after the party
"Since you two have gotten along quicker than we expected, you're getting married sooner than when we planned!" Our parents said after we all arrived back at my house after the party.

"What!?" Lucy and I shouted.

"Don't worry the wedding is in two weeks so you'll be out of school my then. Lucy we just need to take you dress shopping," Mrs. Hearfilia said. That is too soon. I don't like this.

"Mom I'm not ready for this wedding," Lucy said looking down at the ground. Her mom just smiled like she knew something.

"Your friends can disagree with that. Natsu and Lucy your friends can't keep secrets very well and we knew this since the first week you two spent together," Mrs. Hearfilia said. So she knows we like each other. "Don't worry Lucy. This wedding won't be as bad as you think."
