Chapter XVIII

"Breakfast in bed!" Mina said happily said as she walked to Jisoo's bed. Jisoo is still adjusting her sight from the light.

"Good morning." Jisoo replied and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

Mina sat on her bed and fixing what she had prepared. Pancakes and bacons with orange juice.

"You really don't have to, you know. Preparing breakfast, accompanying me each day and everything." Jisoo walked out from the bathroom.

"But I have to and I want to. Come on, let's eat while it is still hot." Mina said.

Jisoo started to dig in on her food and Mina just stares at her lovingly. She's amazed by the older girl's looks and inner beauty. Mina's daydreaming when Jisoo shove a big cut of pancake in her mouth.

"You need to close your mouth. You're drooling. I know, I'm gorgeous." Jisoo winked.

"Conceited!" Mina laughed.

"What time is our flight tomorrow?" Jisoo asked.

"8:00 AM. So, you need to get up early tomorrow." Mina said.

They're done eating their breakfast and now they're at the living room watching TV.

"Let's go to Tokyo skytree tonight." Mina said.

"Hmm kay" Jisoo said as she plays with Dalgom.

After a few hours, Mina went to her home to get her luggage and prepare for their dinner tonight. She felt pressured and nervous.

When she was satisfied to her look, she drove herself to Jisoo's. She opened the front door and Jisoo is still in her room.

"I'm here already!" She shouted.

"Be there in a minute!" Jisoo shouted back.

Mina looked over to the door when Jisoo finally walked out from her room.

"Hey miss, can I get your number?" Mina joked.

"What a cassanova." Jisoo rolled her eyes and grinned.

"I'm not."

"Whatever. Let's go."

Mina opened the passenger's door and Jisoo gladly entered. Then she went to the driver side.

"Fasten your seatbelt."

"Okay, mom." Jisoo chuckled.

They reached their destination. Mina reserved for a dinner of two in the sky restaurant.

"I'm really afraid of heights but the view looks beautiful. Thank you for taking me her.e" Jisoo said looking at the view.

"Yup, it's really beautiful." Mina said while staring at Jisoo.

"Can I have you order, ladies?" The waiter interrupted.

"2 orders of Dinner Teppan Yaki, Chocolate Poundcake with Chestnut and Red wine."

"It that all, ma'am?"

"Yes, thank you."

The waiter made his way and the two began conversing while they wait for their meal.

"I really don't know what I'd do here in Japan without you." Jisoo said.

Mina just smiled in response.

"Uhm, there's something I wanted to tell you." Mina said nervously.

"What is it?"

"I-

"Ma'am here's your wine." The waiter poured both of their glass.

"You may continue." Jisoo said.

"I'll just tell you later after we'll have our dinner. For now, let's enjoy our meal." Mina said.

A moment later, their meals are now served. They started to eat up and savor their delicious japanese cuisine.

Jisoo put down her fork and knife and started up their conversation again.

"What was the thing you were trying to tell earlier?" Jisoo asked

"Uhm. I like you. Scratch that, I'm inlove with you."  There she finally said.

"We've known each other for almost 5 months now. And when I laid my eyes on you for the first time, I was really starstrucked. As cliché as it may sound, I fell in love at first sight. I wanted to make a move but then you said, you have a girlfriend already. It pained me a little. So, I just settled for us being friends. But unfortunately, you two broke up. I know you're still in the process of healing but I'm taking risks." Mina continued.

"Let me love you. Let me show you how serious and sincere I am." Mina held Jisoo hands anticipating her reaction or answer.
