Arriving at school was probably the only thing that got Ally to realize that she was actually sad that school was starting up again. She realized that she can't ride horses all day anymore, or go to her friends' houses anymore. She would actually miss the freedom she had over the summer.
As she was getting out her car and grabbing her side bag, she saw one of her friends, Mallory Johns. Mallory saw Ally and got a big smile on her face. Ally always first notices her friend's darn brown eyes. Her teeth were extremely white and she always got complimented on that fact. She dark brown skin was another highlight. it showed off her dark brown hair. She was a beautiful girl. Her hair bounced with every step she took.
"Ally! Hey!" said Mallory as she was walking up to Ally.
"Hey Mallory! Junior year... finally made it!" She said as she gave her friend a hug.
"I know! Have you seen anyone yet?" she asked, looking around the parking lot.
"Nope, I just got here," Ally replied, looking around as well.
"Ha ha, your brother is such a weirdo!" she said, looking over at Ally's brother.
He wasn't really doing anything strange in particular, but he was staring at Hannah Millez in a flirtatious way. This made Ally feel strange, knowing her brother was one of the school's number one flirt. He was good looking with blonde hair. His hair had perfect locks. Ally didn't see that in her brother though, she saw him as he really was, a player. He wasn't a bad kid, he just can't exactly make up his mind when it came to girls. He could get any girl he wanted, she supposed. Why couldn't he stick with one?
"Eh, just another stroll through a store with him," mumbled Ally. Mallory heard her of course. ut she chose to ignore her comment.
Mallory had always had a little cruch on Daren, but never did do anything about it. She wasn't about to start flirting with him of course, either. She's known him since middle school and knows what he does to girls when he gets bored and finds a new pretty face. Mallory wasn't about to be one of his toys, she had more respect for herself than that.
Ally, staring around for one of her friends, finally found Ginger Grills, one of her friends. Ginger is the girl that is a nerd in class and always has her face in the books. She loves to read all day and actually has those glasses and freckles that compliment her life style. It makes her feel secure knowing that she'll be an author of great books one day. Her skin is pale and so are her blue eyes. She hides her eyes behind a book anyway, so you really wouldn't notice her natural beauty.
"Hey! Ginger!" yelled Ally to her friend.
Ginger glanced up and smiled at the two of them. She walked up and put her bookmark in the book she was reading at the time.
"Hey guys," said Ginger as she walked up.
"Hey, reading as always I see?" said Mallory.
"Do you expect anything else out of her?" said Ally.
All of the people in their group of friends made fun of Ginger for her habit of reading all the time. But Ginger knows thiy're actually joking and mean nothing by it. It seems to give Ginger pride actually. Knowing that she is known as the girl that never puts down the books a sense of recognition and attention. She was raised in a house full of children. Both her other 4 siblings and her aunt's 5 children under one roof. Ginger doesn't mind as much anymore, but it still gets to her a little.
"Oh you guys! Hey, is your brother dating that girl over there again?" asked Ginger.
"You expect me to know? I never know about his dating life!" said Ally.
"I know, but still, everyone is talking about it!" said Mallory.
"Since when do I care about gossip? Especially about my brother?" Asked Ally.
Her two friends nodded silently.
The bell to signal that they only had five minutes left to go to class rang and the three friends went their separate ways after promising each other that they would find the rest of the group at lunch.
