"What?! I'm sorry, i thought i just heard you say something completely stupid and, oh wow, i think i need to get my ears checked." Dakota rambled on.
I took a deep breath. "D, you're not hearing things." i laughed awkwardly.
"Oh really, and when did this happen?" she asked still skeptical.
"On Friday..."
"Friday?! But today is Monday! You had all weekend and you didn't bother to even mention it to me?!"
"I, ah..." I seen Myles heading our way and took in another breath, ready for what was about to occur. "Goodmorning my wonderful ladies, how are we today?"
Before i even had the slightest chance of speaking, Dakota cut me off. "Riley is dating Austin Carter!"
Myles just looked at me for a while, no emotion showing, and it was starting to worry me until he eventually spoke. "Eh, well it was bound to happen sooner or later. I mean you two... well, yeah." he chuckled.
"What?" Dakota and i chimed at the same time.
"Look at it this way. You two are always flirting, and don't give me that look Riley, because it's true. There is also the fact that both of you are attractive, and not to mention-"
Dakota cut him off. "You know, i think i see it now. But i'm still mad at you Riley for not telling me sooner." she said giving me a small glare before we both burst into laughter.
"You both coming around to my house again tonight?" Myles asked.
"I'm in. Oh and is it alright if i stay the night as well?" I smiled.
Dakota laughed. "Oh yeah me too!" she said jumping on the spot in excitement.
"We should get our stuff for class." Myles chuckled at the two of us.
"Alright, now what class do i have? i left my timetable at home." I said already on the way to our lockers.
"You have Drama with me now, and D has Marine Biology." Myles grinned.
"Urgh, how can you stand that class D? I mean i have Psychology but, Bio? And not just Bio, but Marine Bio!"
Dakota laughed and shook her head. "I like the class Ry. It's really not that bad."
"Yeah, yeah alright. Let's just get our stuff and get to class. I can't wait to get started on our scripts."
It wasn't long before we had our things in our arms on our way to class. We parted ways with Dakota and Myles and myself headed towards the drama department. "So, you and Austin Carter hey?" Myles asked.
"So, you and D, hey?" i shot back at him with a grin.
He looked away for a second before answering. "I like her a lot Riley, and i want to ask her to be my girlfriend, but what if she says no."
I stopped where i was standing and stared at Myles before i burst out laughing. "You're kidding right? Oh wow, okay good one Myles, "but what if she says no." I'm sorry honey, but are you serious? Dakota likes you! As in A LOT!" i smiled at him softly.
Myles blushed before smiling back at me. "Come on. We better get to class or we'll be late."
We made it to class just as the bell went, and snuck into the drama room. We made our way to our seats and sat down, but it wasn't long until i felt the pressence of someone near me. I turned in my seat to see Austin a few steps away. He smiled at me and took the few steps over and sat in the free seat on my other side.
"Hello gorgeous." he said and chuckled as i blushed.
"Hello yourself." i smiled back.
"Hmm." Myles coughed, gaining my attention. "Hey Ry, i've got to go see Ms. Davis about the scripts." he grinned, standing up and walking away to see the teacher.
