Hello everyone (you who decide to read my story) this is my first englisch story, so i hope you like it. please vote, comment, whatever.
I do not own any of the characters but Alice and the nameless boy. The rest go's to JK Rowling, though it did change some things. Love Jk Rowling, I think she is an amazing writter.
Prologue
A young women was standing on the edge of a forest. She was wearing a dark blue cloak that matched her brown, curling hair and bright blue eyes very well. She was waiting for the other founders of Hogwarts - school of witchcraft and wizardry- to arrive. She looked at her surroundings and saw the beautiful castle she felt as her own. She always loved that castle, so full of live and magic. She was thinking of what she was about to do. It scared her a bit.
After a while she saw her best friend Helga Huffelpuff emerge from the forest. She was holding a little bundle in her arms. She was wearing her house colours, yellow and black, which she wore all the time. They where her favourite colours. Helga had long black hair which she wore in a braid. She was two years older than her friend. Helga felt sorry for her, because she was about to do something very difficult. She was about to give her baby away. It was to protect the baby but it was still hard to do. When Helga was close to her friend she called her by her name: " Rowena, she's ready to go. When she comes to the place where she belongs - in the future- she will remember everything we told and teached her. She will be fine. Salazar is not coming, I'm sorry. Godric has decided to come so he will be here any time soon." Rowena sighted and took the bundle in her hands. She looked at her little girl with sad eyes, because she knew too well what was about to happen.
The girl in her arms was fast asleep when Godric Gryffindor arrived. You could recognise him by the flaming red hair and the handsome face he had. He wore his usual attire: a dark red robe and a golden cloak with matching headgear. He spoke to them: "Is everyone here? Are you sure Helena didn't follow you? The reason we need to do this is she, you know. Because of her jealousy." "yes, yes we know Godric", Helga said. "To answer your questions, yes everyone is here and I'm absolutely sure that Helena didn't follow us. I put an sleeping charm upon her and if she would wake up, I would know so immediately." "Alright then, shall we begin?", Godric asked. Rowena had a pained look on her face but nodded. This was something that needed to happen.
While Helga and Godric prepared for the time travel of the little girl, Rowena was enjoying the last few moments with her daughter. She had woken her up and was talking softly to her. She was telling everything that the girl might need to know in the future. She was telling the girl about her possible fathers and she was singing the girl a prophecy a seer had foretold. It was about the little girl in her arms. Although Rowena didn't know that it was about her daughter, she could feel that it would be important to her.
"E-explain me the procedure again", Rowena said to her friend in a rather shaky voice. "shh, it's alright darling.", said Helga to calm Rowena down a bit. "We are going to put her asleep..." "w-why are we p-putting her to sleep again?", Rowena asked with the same shaky voice as before. Helga sighted before continuing: "because the way to get her to the future - to a safer place - is almost like apparating. You don't want her to lose an arm do you?" Rowena shook her head and Helga explained her the rest of the procedure. "After we put her to sleep with a sleeping draught she is going to go into this cauldron", she conjured a very large cauldron to the base of a tree near the three founders. There was a liquid in it. Helga had stopped talking to look at Rowena's face, which was set in shock. She then said: "Don't you worry, she will be able to breathe. When she is in the cauldron, we - Godric and I - will cast an incantation to send her to the future. Before she disappears you will have several minutes to tell her one last thing to remember or give her a few belonging to go with here to the future. That way she can think of you", Helga Finished her explanation. Somewhere in Helga's explanation, Rowena had started crying. She was now kissing her little girl on the head. It was finally going to happen.
Rowena took of the little pouch around her neck and hung it around her daughter's. It was her protection charm. She wore it all the time and it was filled with great and strong magic. She figured her daughter would need it more than she did. She gave one last kiss on her daughter's forehead and she put her in the cauldron. A very bright light began to shine. At this point Helga and Godric casted the incantation and Rowena said her last words to her daughter: "I love you, my sweet Alice Rowena Elizabeth Lily Ravenclaw (Because of the fact that Rowena didn't know who the father of the child was she had given de girl her own last name. Ravenclaw). Be safe." After this the cauldron disappeared and the three founders were left standing there feeling alone. They all had tears running down their face's.
Rowena couldn't stop crying and whispering: "I hope she's safe, please let her be safe", when after a while Helga said to her: "If everything went well, Alice will arrive in the future in a basket at Hogwarts. She will be surrounded by bright blue light and that will probably attract some people to come and look for the source." Helga couldn't say 'she will be fine', because she didn't know that for sure. She was afraid too.
Godric, Helga and Rowena were walking back to the castle in silence when they saw a dark shadow approach. It was one of the students from Salazar Slytherins house. He looked very nervous. When he came closer Rowena could see it was Salazar's favourite student. When the boy was close enough to Rowena he handed her a note. The note held the message below:
'Dear Rowena, I am truly sorry for all pain I have caused you and Alice. Therefore, when you receive this message I will be gone. Believe me when I say that you will never see me again.
S.S. '
When Rowena was done reading the note she gave it to Helga, so she could read it also. To Godric she explained: "Salazar left and I don't think we'll be seeing him again soon." While she said this Helga dropped the note and started breathing a little faster. When Rowena noticed that her friend's breathing had become shallow she asked her with a hint of panic rushing through her voice: "What wrong, Helga? Please tell me what's wrong!" "H-helena", Helga breathed "she is awake. And she's really angry, please watch yourself Rowena." When Helga had said this Rowena feared for her life. She couldn't help but feel that this might be the last day she will ever live.
That night Rowena's suspicions became true. This was for a fact the last day of her life. Helena had come up to her and she had said in a quite sarcastic tone: "Hello, mother. How are you? I mean now that your precious daughter, my lovely sister, is gone? I see that you gave her your protection bundle. I wish you hadn't, because now, I am going to be the last person you will ever lay your eyes upon. A pity, I'd rather had it be little Alice, she deserved it more than you do. A well, doesn't matter, you'll do." Rowena looked at here in shock and quietly asked her: "Why, why are you doing this?" Helena answered with obvious anger in her tone: "because you never gave me the attention you gave Her!! I deserved it to!" That was the moment helena chose to kill her mother. She used a spell that made her mother bleed all over her body. The last words helena ever said to her mother were: "see you in the afterlife." At that Helena left her mother bleeding on the floor while she was laughing madly at Rowena's stupidity.
