Asa what a loving child. Well that's we thought when he arrived at Waverly Hills. I was only 9 years old at the time and I remember every detail from that day. October 22nd was a bad day. As 10 year old Asa waltzed into the hell hole unknowingly that he would be consumed with the pain and dread that would eventually control him. Asa was wearing a blue button up top that day and a light wash type of pant. He followed the man with out exfiltration from him. He cluelessly walked through the heavy guarded doors as they slammed shut behind him. Asa followed the man to the nurse. The nurse took Asa's hand and his bag and brought him up to my  floor, room 234. Asa was now sharing a room with me. I watched as he frighteningly gazed at the washed out grey walls and the dusty white tile floors. Asa took a seat on the wired bed. He stared blankly at me then spoke a few words. "hi, my names Asa and I was wondering where the therapists room was?" "Oh um room 200" I whispered to him. He then nodded and thanked me. The nurse came back and gave Asa his robes, they were a dusky white color. The nurse then took his shoes and gave him hospital slippers and socks, then she was on her way to help the little girl across the hall. Which at the time I didn't know it, but it was his little sister Mackenzie. Asa told me he was going to head to Doctor Drew's office, which is the therapist. When Asa finally arrived at room 200 he got very nervous. Sweat started to beat down his back and goosebumps engulfed his arms. What he told Dr. Drew that day I will never know, but whatever it was it changed Drew. The following week after Asa had talked to him Dr. Drew had quit his job as a therapist and decided to go off the grid, he was later found dead in his car on the side of a road. He had overdosed on pain killers. The news described it as a suicide since the pills were found in the cup holder next to him, and the note read "this world is a fucked up place.. I can no longer take it the voices in my head have been yelling at me to do horrible things. I pray to God that patient 928 will recover, if not well then may god have mercy on you all". Patient 928 was Asa Williams.
