"Are you sure about this?" said a voice.
"Positive," replied another. This voice was coming from a lakitu named Jason. He looked like a yellow turtle with opal-shaped eyes and goggle-like glasses that seemed too big for his face. These glasses rested on Jason's small, round nose, and there were three strands of wavy, blackish-brown hair that sprung up from the turtle's head. Like most other lakitus, Jason was sitting in a fluffy, white cloud that looked like a cotton swab with black eyes and a faint smile. Jason also had a shell on his back with a spiral pattern, but unlike most lakitus, his shell was a darker shade of green. He also looked a little older and more tired than other lakitus, but in return, a little wiser.
The two figures were sitting, (or floating in Jason's case), in a dark, grey room. It was Jason's office room; there was a brown desk with office supplies and papers sitting upon it, and a couple pictures of Jason in his younger days on the walls. There was also a rectangular window next to the door to the room, and through the window there could be seen many koopas playing and relaxing on a tropical beach.
"But you know there is a great risk if they come to the island," said the first voice, who was currently leaning against the wall within the shadows of the room.
"I know, but we need some written works on this Wattpad profile so more people will read these stories-"
"Shhhh, stop breaking the fourth wall!"
"Sorry, what I meant to say is that the island hasn't done a contest in decades. Now is the perfect time to start it up again; it's what the people want to see. Besides, it's a whole lot of fun for the contestants."
"But we stopped it for a reason. And you know that reason has to do with you-know-what.
"It's a risk I am willing to take, and we both know that the threat could potentially be eliminated by going through with this."
"It could also create a huge problem. Still..." There was a pause. The figure in the shadows was pondering hard. Jason prayed that he would say yes; it was for the safety of the island. Then the unknown figure gave a little cackle. "Alright, let's do it."
"Excellent," replied Jason. The two figures shook hands.
"Alright then, I'll leave you in charge of the contest. There are some other natives on the island who will gladly help you."
"Thanks. I'll write the invitations right now. Don't worry, everything will be under control."
"Alright, good luck!" Then the mysterious figure walked out the door, and out onto the beach.
Jason was relieved that the contest would finally commence again. He knew the island would face great danger in the near future if something wasn't done about the treasure on the island; the contest would be a great way to hopefully eliminate this threat. Plus, the danger could potentially be a problem for more than just the island if it wasn't stopped.
After a little chuckle, Jason floated down to his desk, and started to write the invitations for the Golden Games.
