Have you ever wondered if your whole life is just pretend? If you're one of those crazy people in those movies with a distorted view of reality and you dont even know it?. What if your boyfriend is a guy your stalking, and every word he says is your brain warping the way you hear it. Switching words around, changing tone. What if him shaking his head at something you just said, whispering "you're crazy" and giving you one of those dazzling smiles, what if that was actually... him crying and screaming in your face "you're crazy!" After you maybe said "I'm gonna fuck you all night long". It could be a lighthearted teasing comment between a couple, Or a menacing threat from a stalker/rapist. How fine is that line? How confident are you that the way you see your life and everything around you is 100% accurate. Ever misheard someone? You call them on what you think sounds like an insult or a rude comment but really it had nothing to do with you. Maybe they were talking about a movie? What if your whole life was like that. But you never get the chance to question it. You dont hear what really happened because you're just in this perpetual state of "what did she just say?". Well maybe no interaction is what we think it is. Maybe, we just interpret it the way we want to without even realizing it. My point is not that everyone is crazy. Just simply that,... maybe you are.
