What Happens At Warped, Stays At Warped

A/N please don't be mean this is the first attempt I've made at writing anything and i thought id write about warped tour considering i cant go unless i get a plane ticket to America but anyway hope you enjoy and that you'll actually read this

we were heading down the road in our bus excited that we'd be playing at warped tour this year, we're also excited that we're gonna meet all the bands that got us into doing what we do, we're also excited with the fact that we're gonna meet all our fans that actually made this happen.

oh yeah let me explain who we are,

well I'm Rhys the lead singer of the band, Tearing Down The Temple, we're a group of five guys all just chilling and rocking out trying to make it to the big league,

so who else is in the band?

well there' me as you know already

then there's David the guitarist he creates some of the most amazing rifts you'll ever hear obviously with the help of Cruz our other guitarist, then there's Dex the Bassist hes pretty cool and i don't think for a second that without him we wouldn't be where we were today he put so much time into the band and so much effort, then then last of all there's our drummer Hunter, hes got some of the fastest beats ever yet he can also make it so the song has a slow rhythm to it.

right now there all either engrossed in the TV or playing cards or something, and what am i doing you ask, well I'm actually on my laptop in my bunk just writing down lyrics for our new songs that come out in a few months time the albums called Blade Outbreak.

anyway back to the subject at hand well we're about 10 minutes away from the bus parking lot at warped and I'm just getting out of my bunk ready to go out and meet everyone, With this being our first Warped Tour i could see that we're all pretty nervous about it.

I walk out of the bunk area and just before i open the door to the living area i can here David's voice over all the voices obviously he's mad but then again what do you expect when he has the shortest fuse ever for a big guy, David's about 6'4, with white mans Afro dark brown hair, his eyes are blue and he isn't exactly the slimest guy in the world but its mostly muscle hes 25 years old and is engaged to Niamh the love of his life they've been dating since he was 19 and she was 18, shes pretty cute and I'm glad that he's found someone for him considering his past.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE CAN'T PARK HERE" i hear him shout, obviously hes shouting at the parking man at the gates to the tour bus parking section, clearly hes p*ssed off.

"you cant park here this spots reserved for Terrific Hate" the attendant say's "however you can park the space in front of them as that's a free spot" he say's trying to calm David down, i open the door and quietly slip into the room as to not disturb the argument there having.

i take a seat next to Hunter and giving him a nod to pretty much say hello to him, all of a sudden i hear David sigh and the bus engine roar back into life as we move forward about 30 foot into the new parking space, but the funniest thing is I've never heard of the band Terrific Hate yet they have they're own space and everything and from the tone the parking attendant was talking in it sounded like they were royalty.

i get up from my spot next to hunter and go to the fridge to get a bottle of water, i lean against the sink and look down at my shoes thinking of what to wear to make sure that i make a good first impression on the other bands on the tour, i mean i don't want to go out and get hated by everyone on the first day.

so let me tell you about myself, my names Rhys Bickmoore, I'm 27 years old and i moved to America from England when i was 20 I've been living here for 7 years, I'm 6'1 with shortish long black/brown hair, I'm single and have been for a few years now, I formed the band about 5 years ago with my friend Dex when i first moved here i lived in hotels hoping around until i found Dex with a vacancy in his apartment we got to know each other and found we liked the same genres of music and that we were really similar after he found out that i could sing and scream and after i found out that he could play the bass and piano we decided that we should start a band and that's how Tearing Down The Temple started, we started small with a few small gigs here and there to just build up a feel for it and to just start getting the hang of it before we quit our jobs and did it full time along the way a few members joined and dropped out until we all found the perfect people to be in the band then we decided to hit the gigs hard and quit our jobs to become a fully fledged band, after we got recognized by Rise Records we signed up with them and then switched to Fearless as they were a bigger company and could make us stand out more, and that's how we got to the spot we're in now.

i finish off the last of my water and walk into the back to get ready, i took a shower and blow dried and straightened my hair to make a good first impression, I've decided to put on some black skinny jeans with rips in them and some black vans i also decided to put on a shirt with our logo on it so that everyone will at least know what band we're in, after contemplating for about 10 minutes whether i look decent i decide to go out to the front and get some crisps or something considering i haven't eaten in hours, after finishing off about 2 more bags after my original one and noticing im the only one left on the bus I decide to head out of the bus to greet everyone as i open the door i get hit by blinding sun causing me to squint my eyes, after getting used to the suns light intensity im able to see around and then it hits me, the feeling that I've actually made it big.
