•Ch.1 Nightmare

Zara's POV :
I went to sleep around 1:30 a.m. because I stayed up watching horror movies on Netflix.

I quickly fell asleep

I started dreaming that I was in a dark place, pitch black I should say. I noticed that my back was touching a wall.

When I'm scared I do stupid stuff so..

I started running.

I really didn't know why I was running

I ran into a wall and fell to the ground. I got up and grabbed my forehead

Ouch  I thought

I see light reflect on the wall and turn around

I see a man with a gun standing in the doorway

"Why am I here" I shout

"Scared much" he replied

"No! Why should I" i lied

"Yes you are! You coward" the man said

He loads the gun and shoots

At that moment everything went slow motion

Someone pushed me out of the way

I'm falling to the side in slow motion

As soon as I touch the ground I wake up gasping

I sit up and look at my alarm clock

|10:30 a.m.|

The sunlight was already peeking through my window curtains.

<End of P.O.V>

*Zach opens the door*
Zach: are you ok? I heard a scream 😮

Zara: I didn't scream 😒

Zach: oh nvm then... Breakfast is ready 🥞

Zara: I'll be right down

Zara's P.O.V :

Zach nods and closes the door and I'm guessing he went down stairs for pancakes

Zach is like an overprotective brother

He cares a lot about me 👌🏼
I grew up with him so that explains a bit
I got out of my bed and put my fluffy slippers on.

I walked through the hallway passing Ryan's room. His door was closed but you could still hear him working on his vocals for his solo.
I opened the door slowly he was facing the opposite direction playing on his keyboard.
He didn't reach the note he expected to reach so he stopped playing and put his hands on his lap
"Hey you'll get it just keep practicing... breakfast is ready let's go" I said
"Yeah I know Zach came and told me " he replied

*at breakfast table*

"Okay guys today we're going to the mall to Christmas shop and when we come back we're going to wrap gifts"  said Mama Herron

"Don't we have to split up?" I asked before drinking my orange juice

"I guess so... btw reese stays with me" said Mama Herron said in between eating her oatmeal

We continue eating our breakfast in silence and then we leave for the mall

*at the mall*
We all split up, I go with Ryan, Mrs. Herron with reese and Zach by himself.

Ryan wanted to buy Zach some video games so we went to Game Stop.

Ryan picked out some games and he paid with the money his mom gave him.

"I'll wait outside" I said breaking the silence

"Ok" he replied while looking at the video games

I walked out of the store and sat at a nearby bench
