Into the Nevernever

Iron kingdom

I woke up to someone poking me in the face.

"I'll bite your finger if you don't stop poking me." I said. The poking immediately stopped.

I opened my eyes to see Robbie's face right above mine.

"I need you to get up." he said.

I got up because his expression said don't argue. so now we were walking through the woods when we came to a clearing.

"What are we doing here?" I asked.

"I want to talk to you before we get into the iron kingdom." he said.

"Okay what about?" I asked.

"Do you know who your parents are?" he asked.

"No I was adopted." I replied quietly.

Right then something came through the trees.

It was a 20 ft lizard with yellow eyes. I jumped to my feet and pulled out my pocket knife.

"Your gonna need something deadlier than that." he said and handed me a long dagger.

This is one of those moments when I'm so glad I know how to kick but.

The lizard charged us and attacked. when it got closer I saw poison dripping off it's teeth. I jumped out of the way of it's tail and crawled underneath it. Robbie seemed to figure out what I was gonna do so he started attacking the lizards front to get its attention. Out of no where the lizard brought it's claw down and hit Robbie he burst into a pile of leaves leaving the huge lizard confused. a big black raven swooped down and hit it's eye. I slashed my dagger all up it's leg.

It tried to grab me with it's tail but dropped and rolled out of the way just barely escaping.

Robbie hit the final blow to the huge lizard by transforming back to human and stabbing it in it's soft spot. It made a screeching noise and ran off.

I fell to the ground afterwards panting like crazy I need to get back in shape.

"Where did you learn to move like that?" he asked.

"I don't know it just kinda came natural to me." I said honestly.

"We should head back." he said.

"Yea I think so too." I replied.

When we got back Olivia was looking around like crazy.

"Where in the world did you got I was looking everywhere for you too I started to think you left me!" Olivia exclaimed.

"I'm really sorry for not telling you we were out talking and got attacked by this huge lizard." I said.

"Oh well are you okay?" she asked me.

"Yea I'm fine but I think we need to head on." I said.

We all started heading out fallowing Robbie. we made it to the iron kingdom about 5 hours later. I was so exhausted but it all seemed to vanish when I took in the iron kingdom.

It was beautiful with giant somewhat modern looking buildings with amazing architecture.

There was music and dancing and the buzz of machinery. All the creatures that were here looked so different some were what looked like robots and others had pointy ears and sharp faces. they were all beautiful in there own way.

From the city we were in I could see a silver castle in the distance. When we got to the center of the town everyone stopped and looked at us.

The group parted and about 20 knights came in and rose there weapons all around us just daring us to make a move.

Robbie came out from behind us and they all lowered there swords. A knight that was wearing all black came out. He had silver eyes, black hair, and oddly enough looked very familiar to me like I'd seen him before.

"What are you doing here Puck?" the mystery man asked.

"Well I thought I might stop by and bring some friends along and of coarse to see you ice-boy." Robbie said.

"Puck you shouldn't have brought them here especially a human and you," he turned to me," why are you able to stand the iron."

"Hey I just got here and how the heck am I suppose to know." I said.

a knight came forward,"you do not speak to the prince that way!" he bellowed. I raised my hands up in surrender.

"That is also the reason I brought her here she's part fey but I don't know which kind she is." Robbie or Puck whatever his name is said.

"We shall go to the queen about this come." the prince said and we followed him to the castle.

See I told you this chapter would be long any who I will be able to write some more because as of today NO MORE SCHOOL!!!! I'm out of school now and so happy oh and by the way if you like my story please comment, share, or vote love you guys! EHope
