Chapter 8

"BYUN FREAKIN' BAEKHYUN"

Hyewon jumped up from where she was lying, running over to the other side of the room and staring at the door which was now open.

Baekhyun stood with a look of bewilderment on his face and she pushed passed Xiumin who was leaning against the doorframe and grinning sly.

A girl stood next to him, her long black hair framing his face and she moved next to him, grabbing his hand.

She glanced at their intertwined hands and a smug smile appeared on her face.

"Ooh~look who has a girlfrien-"

"Shut up, and yes, you have a problem with that Hyewonnie?"

Hyewon scowled, moving swiftly to Xiumin side and putting an arm around him.

Baekhyun glanced at him and Xiumin sent a grin his way as he pulled the girl on his arm closer.

"and you are?" Baekhyun asked glaring darkly at Xiumin

"Kim Minseok, but call me Xiumin" he replied, straightening up and offering his hand to Baekhyun.

After a few seconds Baekhyun accepted the handshake and Xiumin led them inside, Hyewon and Aecha following behind them.

"You know your boyfriend is a giant ass" Hyewon muttered, glaring at Baekhyun who turned towards the pair while positioning himself on the counter.

He rolled his eyes before yelling an insult back at her.

"Haha, same goes to you loser"

Xiumin chuckled and walked over to the coffee machine, asking what they wanted.

"Two regulars?"

Baekhyun looked to Aecha who nodded in agreement, deciding to sit beside him. Hyewon joined Xiumin behind the counter, getting two take-out mugs. Baekhyun obviously saw this as a chance to tease her.

"Aw whilst you were gone you became a barista~"

Hyewon turned around, giving him the evils. She leaned on the counter, giving Aecha a cup and smiling at her, but throwing the other cup in Baekhyun's face.

"Oi brat"

Hyewon chuckled, Baekhyun placing the cup in front of him.

Xiumin came over, pouring the drinks skillfully in a heart shape and Aecha giggled, looking to Baekhyun who was already staring back at her.

They locked eyes for a second, both blushing as they reached for each others hands under the bar table.

Baekhyun looked up, seeing Hyewon and Xiumin brushing shoulders, smiling, and giggling at each other.

He raised an eyebrow, deciding to let it go.. eventually.

He leaned down to Aecha, pointing to the two by the machines.

"Looks like we all found someone"

Aecha smiled and nodded, leaning on the boys shoulder.

They watched the pair flirting with each other, Baekhyun inwardly smirking but getting serious for a second.

"Hey lovebirds!"

They turned abruptly, both looking like deer caught in headlights.

Baekhyun chuckled slightly, Aecha hitting him on the shoulder.

Baekhyun signalled for Hyewon to speak to him in private and Xiumin began talking to Aecha as the 'friends' walked away.

Baekhyun pulled her to the side, leaning on the wall with a devilish grin. Hyewon rolled her eyes, groaning and laughing.

"Oh don't give me that! we only kissed twice~"

Baekhyun's eyes widened and he playfully pushed her on the shoulder. Both of them going silent afterwards.

"I did miss everyone...even you"

Both of them chuckled lightly, Hyewon offering a genuine smile.

"In all honesty I missed you too, you big baby"

Baekhyun pointed to himself mouthing 'me' before Hyewon laughed, pulling him in for a short hug which he gladly returned.

Once they pulled away, Baekhyun looked to the two others who were happily chatting away, laughing and whispering.

"What do you think they're whispering about?"

Baekhyun raised his eyebrows, judging the atmosphere.

"Hmm, I'd say...us"

"Probably"

They both smiled to each other cheekily before walking back to their partners, returning to the loved up atmosphere.

"Hey we should go to the lodge, see how Chen and Tara are?"

"Baekhyun nodded, jumping down from the bar stool and offering his hand to the girl next to him.

She blushed and was pulled into a side hug, Baekhyun dragging her out of the coffee shop.

Xiumin locker the door and walked over to Hyewon, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

Baekhyun and Aecha were up ahead, almost glued to each other as they wandered along the path.

"Excited to meet Chen and Tara?"

Aecha smiled and nodded.

"Hyewon and you like the same things, I think you'll become close... unfortunately"

Aecha laughed, hitting him on the chest.

"Don't! just because you hate each other doesn't mean we cant be friends"

Baekhyun looked to her, putting his hand on his heart and acting sad and hurt.

Aecha giggled and laughed, both of them not noticing the pair behind them holding hands and stealing secret glances from one another.
