Chae Rin's POV:

I woke up hugging a stiff object. Is my pillow supposed to be hard? I started removing my other hand but I can't it was too heavy. I fixed my vision and saw Kuanlin sleeping. I pushed him to the edge that caused him to fall off the bed.

I checked my body if clothing was still there and gladly there still is. I sighed in relief. I went to the edge and checked on Kuanlin.

At first he was looking around my room with a confused face. He looked at me with a shocked expression, he started speaking in a language that I didn't know.

"Wo zai nali? Ni shi shei?" Omg how attractive can his voice be? Deep but sweet...wait wtf

"What are you saying?"

"Shenme tamade~hai--bagdgakoe....swaggyrapper..aagdhdkw" He suddenly started twitching and his tattoo glowed up.

I went closer to him and his eyes opened and seemed normal. So I tried talking to him normally.

"Korean! Do you speak it boy?" He didn't answer so I asked him something else.

"Hey can you speak english? You know cat dog or something?" He looked at me weirdly. Giving me a what the fuck look.

"Where do you live?"
"What's your name?"
"Where are your parents?"
"Hello???"
"Are you human?"

*ding* *dong*

The doorbell suddenly rang. Who will visit me too early in the morning? I'll deal with Kuanlin later.

"Hey Chae! Its me Jihoon! Your bestfriend?" I cursed under my breath. Omg he will see Kuanlin and would probably think that I have a new boyfriend. And so what? he probably doesn't care....but still. Great I'm talking to myself.

"Get in the closet hurry" I pushed him to the closet but he was fighting me. I had no choice, I kicked him on the spot where it really hurts. He groaned in pain. I felt guilty but finally he went to the closet.

"COMING!!!!" I looked at myself in the mirror and fixed my hair then went downstairs. Like flash, I opened the front door and greeted him with my sweetest smile.

"Morning Chae :)" oh cute he looks like a smol bunny. I didn't realize that my head was turning sideways so I mentally slapped myself.

"S-so wha-what you doing heeeree? Oh right come in come in.." I let him inside my house taking deep breaths in the process.

"Oh I bought you some chocolates to make you feel better" he said while looking around my house.

"Why would you think I'm not?" closing the door.

"I heard you got fired on your first day, thought I'd cheer you up" He said while smiling. shit Jihoon how can I move on if you're like this?

*crash*

"What's that?" He said while trying to climb the stairs.

"Wa-wait!" I blocked the stairs. Come on brain think of a reason...

Why don't you just tell him? He can be trusted right?

"Ahm maybe its my dog?"

"You have a dog?" Wow brain great excuse, you don't even like dogs.

"Yeah, he's a bit aggressive when seeing new people" I reasoned out.

"Are you hungry? I'll cook you sausages and scrambled eggs" completely changing the topic.

"I thought you hated them, let's eat? I miss your cooking" He went to the kitchen/dining room carrying the chocolates. I sighed relief as I followed him in the kitchen.

"Wah jinja, it tastes great as always" he said while his eyes were sparkling. I just smiled at him sweetly as a reply.

I took the plates and was about to wash them but Jihoon called my attention.

"Hey, I know that we're........you know..." I stayed silent for a bit, just listening to what he'll say.

"But can I stay here for awhile? I mean you can say no if you don't want to, aish what am I thinking?.....I'm sorry" He was scratching his head sheepishly.

I faced him to say that I'll let him stay here but a tall figure showed up.

Its Kuanlin wearing his poker face looking at Jihoon then looking at me, repeating the process.

Jihoon stood up and went infront of me.

"Who are you?" Jihoon said protectively

"Jihoon its oka—"

"Its Lai Kuanlin." I faced him looking at him in wonder with a mix of annoyance.

Wtf?! He didn't answer me a minute ago and here he is now, talking normally to Jihoon.

"What are you doing here?" Jihoon asks again.

"Wait you know Korean!" I shouted

"Stay behind me Chae...he might be dangerous..." Jihoon whispers

"I'm her friend.."

"Yeah its okay Jihoon I let him stay here" I reasoned. He replied with a what-are-you-saying look.

"Don't worry I'll explain to you later...just act normal" I whispered making sure Kuanlin didn't notice.

He stood between us two and was about to say something.

"Since this guy's here, I must stay here with you. He might do something wrong to you so I'm here to protect you"

Great now I have two problems. Fuck my life
