Derrick should be the perfect pop star guy with the best manners and totally nice to the public, but in private, he should be more easy going and laidback with a bit of a temper.
Melony should not know who Derrick is, despite him being to famous.
Derrick lies to Melony about himself continuously because he finally finds the one girl who doesn't love him for his celebrity side, fame, and money.
When Melony finds out about Derrick, she should be mad and heart broken over all the lies.
This book should end with them both being okay and Derrick showing the world the real him.
Suggestions
I would suggest you make Derrick and Melony meet while she's walking down the beach. But little does she know, it's a private beach belonging to Derrick.
Have Derrick have a somewhat negative vibe in the beginning towards her because he thinks she's just another fangirl.
Have the story about the two fighting because he lied to her about who he really is be shared on the internet and all over the news for a more dramatic effect.
This story idea was inspired by the movie, "StarStruck".
