Cathia's POV
Football. That is my only get away. Usually everything I do is all because of my twin brother, Jakob also known as Jake. I love him and all, but usually everything revolves around him, just because he is the famous one. He is good at everything, well not everything. He got the singing and good look genes. I am not saying I am not beautiful, because I know I am. You don't have to tell me that. Well, I got the athletic and smart genes. Jake is okay at school. That is how he figured out he was a gifted singer. You don't think about most athletes having really good grades. You think they don't care, but actually they do. Just like me. Some don't. People are so stereotypical, in every way. All people really think about is what they see in movies. In movies there are dumb blondes, guess what I am? A blonde and I get good grades. Who do you usually see on the football field playing QB in movies or in other high schools? Boys. Me. Cathia Karimi. Kat Karimi. QB for the Winterwood Academy. I want to show people that girls can do things that boys can. Mostly because I love the sport. It is my life. Everything that I am worry about or I am mad at, at that time. Goes away. Gone like the wind. That's what I like about football.

"Run it again, faster! You have to throw it faster!" Coach Brian yelled at me.
Ugh. I hated this. I just want to punch him silly.
"Hey, Kat. It's okay, come on," said Xavier.
"Shut up. Come in let's run it again," I snapped.
My team groaned but they shuffled back in place.
"Lightning! Down, set, hike!" I yelled as the ball snapped up into my hands.
I took a step back and turned around to fake handout and threw it way down the field to Xavier, my wide receiver. It landed right in his arms and he ran down the field and scored a touchdown.
"Okay guys good practice. Everyone go to your lockers while I talk to our captain, Cathia.
I rolled my eyes. My best friend, Luke mouthed good luck before joining the rest of our team.
"Coach, I told you I like to be called Kat," I whined.
"That is the name your parents gave you, so I am going to call you that." Coach Brian said.
"What do you need, Coach?" I questioned.
I really didn't know what this was about. Our first game was in a few weeks, and we have been doing really well in practices. I didn't think we needed to talk about things.
¨Cathia, we need to talk about our attitude. It has well, how do I put this," Coach Brian said while rubbing his head, " if you don't start listening to me I will pull you off the field. I know you don't want that though, you are my star and first hand QB and nothing will change that, but if I have I will put....¨
¨No, don't say him!" I screeched.
¨...Drew," Coach sighed.
¨NO! WHY? You can't do this to me! You know that I am pulled, I'll die. You know what I am going through. When I am on the field everything changes," I shout.
Out of my peripheral vision, I see Luke come rushing out of the boys locker room. Probably to check on me, because he heard me yelling. He was over protective, but that was good sometimes.I just flash him a thumbs up without looking at him. If I did, I would probably have burst into tears.
¨I can do this, Cathia. I just don't want to. I didn't even want to mention it," Coach Brian admitted.
I couldn't take it anymore. I ran to the girls bathroom and locked myself in a stall and I slid down the door. I heard all the cheerleaders snickering at me. I didn't care at that time. I have more import ant things to work out instead of those b*****. I could easily beat them all, in a heartbeat. I finally, heard them all head out of the locker room.A few minutes later I heard the loud bang of the locker room shutting and big heavy footsteps. I got scared. I quickly unlocked the door and slid out as quiet and I could be. Before this person could come around the corner, I punched them in the face and hit them where the stars don't shine.
