Chapter 1

Sapphire P.O.V
I was on the streets of Gotham walking around. . . Oh wait let's go back to the beginning.

Flashback start:
I was in my room when I felt myself hovering in the air. Woah! Do I have powers? I have to tell my parents. I ran downstairs and saw my parents. I said "Mom, Dad! Guess what? I found out that I have powers!" "Sweetheart, did you hit your head?" My mother said worried. "No, Of course not. I am telling the truth, I have powers." "We should take her to the hospital honey." She whispered to Father. "I can hear you! I am telling the truth!" I said in anger. The floor started to freeze. While suddenly there was fire in my hands. Both of them were trembling in fear. "GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE NOW! YOU ARE A WITCH!" Father shouted at me. I packed my stuff and left crying.
Flashback End.

Also my name is Sapphire Sparks. Now I have become a superhero called Ethereal. My outfit has a purple belt, a black outfit with purple stripes with a matching mask that is like Robins mask. My eyes change color from depending on the power I am using. I have tattoos that turn into wings.So I am walking around like I said. I put on my outfit. I got my wings out and flew to Gotham.

I flew to an abandoned house where my tracker is leading to. I am following the Joker and Harley. I land and walk in. I teleport to them by using the shadows. I use their shadows and control them when suddenly Batman and Robin burst in the room. I had just finished tying them up. "Your a little too late." I said. "Who are you?" Batman asked. "Ethereal," I said while bowing. I walked into the open and got my wings out, I saw them watching me, I flew of with the bodies. I flew to the police jail and put them there. I walked out. I went to an alley way  and slept after getting changed.

Time Skip(The Next Morning)

I woke up and realized it was the first day of school. I groaned. I walked to school. I went to my classroom and walked in. The teacher walked in and said "Sit anywhere you want." I sat next to this black haired boy. I asked, "Hello! I'm Sapphire, What's your name?" "I'm Richard, but call me Dick." He replied. "Friends?" I asked. "Friends," He said. I smiled. He smiled back. We exchanged phone numbers.

Time Skip(After School)

I was in an alleyway when I decided to text Dick.

S: Hey Dick, Wanna hang out on Friday?
I waited for a response.
D: Sure!
S: Can I come over to your house?
D: You can come over to my house.
S: I need an address
He texted me his address.
S: Thanks
D: No problem.
S: See you there!
I went to sleep.

Time Skip(Friday)

After school I walked to Dick's house. It was a mansion, cool! I knocked and waited. A few seconds later, the door opened, and I saw Dick. "Hey!" I said. "Hey!" He replied, "come inside!" I walked inside. I saw a guy walk in and say "Master Richard, Who is this young lady?" "Alfred, this is Sapphire, Sapphire, this is my butler Alfred." Dick said. "Nice to meet you, I'm one of Dick's Friends!" I said while smiling. "Why so nice to meet you Miss Sapphire." Alfred said. Dick and I walked up the stairs to his room. "I can't believe you live in a mansion. It's so cool!" I said amazed. "It's fine, but where do you live?" He asked. "Um, I live on the streets,"
I replied nervous. "What,Why? You could stay here if you want!" Dick said. "Seriously, it's okay, besides your father would probably say no!" "I'll talk to him!" Dick said. We talked for hours. Then he asked, "I was wondering if you would like to come to one of my family ceremonies?" "Sure! I would love to. When is it?" I asked. "7:00 pm, see you there" He replied. I left and slept in an alleyway.

Time Skip(6:00 pm next day.)

I got dressed into a black dress with purple stripes, although it's a dress it is also meant for being able to fight. I got there and walked in. I was talking to Dick when I heard glass shatter. I turned around and saw the Joker. He jumped in and pulled out a gun he put the gun to my head. He said, "Give me all your money or I will shoot this pretty lady!" "Sapphire!" Dick yelled. I rolled my eyes annoyed. I dropped down, I slipped out of the jokers hands and I karate kicked him the face. I knocked him out with that kick. I walked to Dick. "Dick, You don't have to worry about me. I know karate," I said. He looked relieved. I smiled.
