Wish: A Phineas and Ferb Fanfiction

Wish

(Phineas' POV)

It was a little after midnight, I was sure. Ferb conked out right after he laid down, literally, seeing he's sick, and all. But for some reason, I couldn't. I wanted to stay up and watch the meteor shower tonight with my brother, but he looked so terrible, I didn't have the heart. I was just too awake right now to fall asleep, if that make any sense.

Not being able to stand it any longer, I quietly got up and walked over to the window, opening it as slowly as I could without waking my brother. Slipping through it I ended up on the large patch of roof right outside. I tried to distance myself as far away from the window as I possibly could. I mean, its not exactly sound-proof. Well, yet anyways.

I lied down and almost at once, saw a flash of light soaring across the sky. It was beautiful, but I had no one to share it with. At least, I thought.

Pulling out my phone, scrolled down my contacts list and found who I was looking for. I hope she was still awake. Otherwise, I would feel bad.

Surprisingly, on the second ring, she answered.

" Hey Izzy, whatcha doin' up late, well, sort of?" I whispered into my cell phone.

She giggled at the use of her catchphrase. Weirdly, I'm the only other person she'll let use it. Hmmm, wonder why. " You know, I could ask you the same thing!"

" Touché." I answered, coyly, a lopsided grin plastered on my face. Why, I don't know.

" Well, to answer your question, I'm watching the meteor out my bedroom window at the moment. I'm guessing you and Ferb are doing the same?"

She knows us so well.

" We would be, but as you know Ferb is sick, and was really tired, so he went to bed right away. So, its just me on the roof at the moment."

" Don't worry, I'll be right over!"

Times that by three thousand and forty-seven.
