Chapter 3-
It was my first day of US history with Professor Reekle. I walked in the class to see a familiar face. Chandler. I smiled and started to walk towards him. Just before reaching his seat I was quickly cut off.
"Heyy Chan Chan long time no see!" A tall girl with bright blue eyes and long light brown hair walked up to chandler."Oh hey, what's up " he replied to her with a soft smile. She bent down to lean on the desk connected to his seat. "So chandler I was thinking since your so great at history, you should come by my dorm after class, yeah?" She said placing her hands on his.
"Uh well I'm kinda-" he was cut off while he looked from her hands back up to her face. "Great it's a date!" She smiled and ran her hand up his arm. I just stood there staring.
"Listen Car-" he spoke up and grabbed her hand and placed it back on the desk.
"Hush chan my room 3:00 sharp. Bye babe." She kissed him in the cheek and walked away towards the back of the room where I assume her friends were.
She called him babe. Did this asshole have a girlfriend? Fair to say I don't know much about him and it was a party and we were drunk and we kissed and that doesn't mean anything right. But the poor girl probably doesn't even know about me. I slightly turned and walked to the opposite side of the room from him and sat down I could feel him looking at me but I now feel guilty.

Chandler ended up, walking up next to me as I walked out of class; he kept the conversation very casual and mentioned how boring our professor was. I agreed with him and kept things casual and acted like nothing was wrong.
How am I gonna ask him about her? They're just studying. But what if it's his girlfriend. But if it was his girlfriend she surely would have say with him through our class right. Come on just ask him Madeline. Don't be a pussy."Heyy uh chandler who was that uh we'll that girl earlier...?" I said not taking my eyes away from my phone as I walked. "Who?" He replied. Those blue eyes dart at me and I almost get lost in them.
"The uhhh girl uhum studying with you?" I stuttered after almost every word. I put my phone down to tried to focus on my words more.
"Oh right...Carson." He laughed under his breathe.
Carson? Pretty name. Pretty face pretty body.great. Now I'm insecure
"Carson..she uh seems nice." I said tucking my hair behind my ear and pulling my phone back out of my pocket.
"Nah." He responded still looking at me. "Then why are y'all-" I turned my head to look at him but he cut me off.
"Were aren't!" He raised his voice he rolled his eyes while throwing his hands up slightly.Oh my gosh he just hollered at me. And now everyone is starting.
He grabs my arm and pulls me into a study room connected to the library.
"She's my ex girlfriend and you could say she hasn't gotten over the break up yet." He looks stressed out while he speaks.
I nodded before speaking, "Oh okay we'll are you over the break-" he cuts me off again
"Yes 100%. I broke up with her she enjoys entertaining all guys at once she was never only about me so." He nodded aggressively at me.
He walks closer to me minimizing the space between us. "Nice to see you care so much though" he smiles at me and place his hand on the wall beside my head.
I had no words really I just looked at him. He was easy to look at. His smile grew as he leaned into me and placed his other hand on my waist. His lips were just in inches from mine and my breathe hitched in my throat. He could tell I was nervous as he leaned in to kiss me. Once our lips connected he proceeded by pushing me against the wall and bodies stuck together. My hands slide from the bottom of his stomach up to around the back of his neck and I pulled him down closer to me. He took another step forward deepening our kiss, but knocked over the skeleton display in the study room it came crashing down next to us making us both jump away from each other. We both barreled over in laughter and panic.
