I rolled in the uncomfortable hotel bed. I looked over at my twin brother Scotty. He was restless to.
"Scotty," I whispered. He turned his head towards me.
"can't sleep either," he asked.
"no," I sighed.
"baseball game tomorrow morning we have to get rest," he said smiling.
"What am I going to day during that," I said softly so I wouldn't wake up our parents who were in the connecting room.
"You can hang in the dug out or in the crowd," he said.
"dug out," I smiled.
"bed," he said.
"yeah yeah yeah okay mom," I said smiling.
"alright dad," he said laughing.
"ug you," I said.
"no".
I rolled over and feel asleep.

I woke up to Scotty screaming get up. I grubbily got out of bed. I got in the shower and then put on my cloths. I was wearing my white cloth athletic shorts that had Areopostol written on the butt in red. Then I put on my red Hunter Hayes shirt and then my black "love" toms. I put on a bit of makeup not a lot just a natural look and braided my long auburn hair. I walked out of the bath room. Scotty was ready.
"Hunter's performing tonight," I said smiling.
"We have to get invited to be taken to be able to be backstage and we can't sit in the crowd sorry but if you wanna try go ahead," he said smiling. I pulled my braid to the side of my shoulder. My bangs were hanging in my face. I walked into our parents room.
"you guys ready," my mom asked.
"Yes," I said. Scotty walked in and we walked to the car. Me and Scotty sat in the back. It was early the game started at 9:00 so it was 8:00. I leaned over and rested my head on Scotty's shoulder. He laughed.
He didn't mind we were close. Correction we were extremely close. We were twins we always had the same group of friends. Well not always but it seemed like him and his friends dated mine and my friends and me dated his friends. I always thought that was awkward.
I was so excited to see Lauren. It had been a while since I'd seen her since my brother and her broke up. I knew it would be awkward but they just needed to get over it. When we got to the baseball field everyone was talking. I found Lauren right away.
"Lauren," I said smiling. She hugged me.
"Tayla long time no see," she said laughing.
"Oh I know and we never text anymore. I miss you," I said smiling.
"I miss you to just after the whole Scotty thing I didn't want to ruin your relationship with your brother," she said bashfully.
"eh him us talking won't bother him. If it does he can get over it you're my friend," I said looking over at him. He smiled at me.
"Yeah that's good. I mean your brother's good and all but after that breakup," her voice faded out.
"yeah," I smiled.
"So how have you been," she asked.
"Good! But I really want to see Hunter Hayes tonightand meet him, but my brother said if I can get his number from someone then we can probably go," I said frowning.
"Oh I have his number we can call him and ask if I can give Scotty his number," she said smiling.
"Oh my gosh yes," I said excitingly. Lauren took out her phone. She went down her list of people to Hunter. The phone started ringing. I pressed my ear on the outside so I could hear. Then he answered.
"Hey it's Hunter," he said.
