Chapter 2: The Plan

Kara's POV:

"Ah, and what is that reason you're going to tell me, Jodi?" I asked nervously.

Jodi slurped soup on her spoon. Georgina and Gillian are still eating. I changed my sit as I went to her since she's at the end.

"Kara, you know Kevin McDaid right?" She asked.

"Yeah, he's Mark's ex-boyfriend, and your close friend too." I said.

"Well, that was before", she said, rolling her eyes. "But when I learned that he was just using Mark to have money, I became mad to him. And Kian, too, as he felt bad to his best friend. Of course I will go to Kian and Mark. Kevin knows that I became mad to him because of what he did to Mark and that ruined our friendship. And now, I've become even more mad to him."

"And why?"

"You know, Mark is planning to have a solo career just like Shane. And knowing Kevin, that will give him an oppurtunity to use him again. Now, he wants to go back to Mark's life, and I wanna stop him."

"Oh. Is Mark know your scheme against Kevin?"

"No, only Kian. I also told him about this, and he agreed with me to do so. In fact, he's the one who's planning this scheme. And he wants me to have someone to do our plan against Kevin."

I was surprised of what Jodi said. What? Kevin wants to go back to Mark's life? For what? To use him again for his selfish ways? Huh, not again! And I think Jodi is telling me this because she wants me to do something.

"Kara, I know this will hurt you", she said, expressing sad face and holding my right hand. "But, can you please deal with this one?"

Oh, I was right. Just what I thought, Jodi wants me to do with this. I'm feeling nervous about her plan for Mark. I put my hands on my face. I just don't know what to do. The three ladies know that among the Westlife lads, I have a crush on Mark. But I only "crush" him as member of Westlife but not in real life. Oh, God! What can I do now?

"Kara, I know this is difficult in your part", Jodi said. "But I want you to make Mark fall in love with you and get Kevin out of the picture."

I deeply sighed as I heard what she's planning for. "Kara, please. Do this not for me, but for Mark. I don't want him to fall on Kevin's trap. He's closer to me than Kevin." Jodi added.

"You know what, Kara, you and Mark are meant to be", said Gillian, smiling. "Asian plus Irish equals PERFECT!"

"Please, Kara...I want you to complete our gang called W.O.W.", added Georgina.

"W.O.W.?" I frowned.

"Wives of Westlife", said Jodi with a smile. "Knowing Mark, I know he still wants to have his own family just like his bandmates. And I think you could fulfill that."

I just became silent for a while. I just don't know how to react on this. Jodi wants me to make Mark fall in love with me. Oh, my goodness! This will be trouble, especially when Kevin learned Jodi's plan against him.

"Kara, are you okay?"

Oh, it's Gillian speaking. She noticed my silence.

"I think we should give her time to think about it", said Georgina. She turned to me. "I know this is hard for you but Jodi and the rest of us know that you can do this. That's why we entrusted you this task. But don't worry, we'll give you time and if you're ready, just tell us okay?"

I smiled a little and nodded "Um...okay, Gee."

"Any plans for tomorrow, Kara?" Gillian asked.

"Well, aside from being cook in this diner, I also have another job. But I recently worked there just to have an additional source of income."
