I don’t even remember falling asleep. It kinda happened without me knowing, or how john green says “it comes slowly then all at once.” I love john green. He’s an amazing writer, some day I would love to write as good as he does. I woke up to the sound of birds outside. They like to annoy me on my weekend.  I got out of bed and stretched my tired out and yawned. I smacked my lips and noticed the nasty taste in my mouth. My brother walked into my room with a dumb smile on his face. It got me suspicious. “what? Did you do something?” I asked nervously getting up and looking at mirror making sure he didn’t mess with me.

“how come you always think I did something when I walk into this room.” He asked still having that smile plastered on his face. “because you give me reason to be suspicious about you. Last time you walked into my room with that dumb smile on your face I had to use my whole weeks lunch money getting you out of trouble.” I said clearly stating my reasons for being right. Well, I’m right 99.9% of the time. The .1% is only because I was wrong once or twice. “fair enough, but I don’t think my smile is dumb. The girls at school surely don’t think so. Well I’m here to inform you that moms birthday is in a week so don’t forget.” He said then he left.

Shoot! I almost forgot. Yeah I knew it was my moms birthday in a week but it kinda slipped my mind. I had to find out what to get her. She’s always doing things for me and my brother. She works all the time and she’s always tired. So I have to do something special. Maybe a day at the spa then get her hair done, and then take her out to dinner. Sounds pretty good, it’s a plan I said mentally in my head.

I got up and took a shower and washed all the stink off of me. It felt good to take a nice warm shower without being sad. I got out and got ready for the day. I wore a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a Pierce the Veil shirt. I slipped on my old dirty converse and went down stairs to eat breakfast. I felt energized after I was finished. I turned on my phone to see nothing in my notifications. Huh, I was expecting Austin to message me or something. But I guess not. I just left it alone, I mean im expecting too much. We aren’t even dating or anything. We just met. But it would be nice for me to be able to call him babe.
