"Y/N should we go to a new year's party" said your best friend. "Actually scratch that we're going no buts."
You scoffed, you always enjoyed (F/N)'s humor. She was the one who introduced you to the party where you met Jungkook.
"Ok we need to go get dresses" she squealed as you two walked into a dress store.
She gave you an assortment of dress, black, gold, a mix of both. Finally you walked out with a tight, black dress that complimented your body quite nicely and she practically screamed causing looks from all through the store. A part of you hoped Jungkook would be at the party so he'd see you. You didn't want to admit it but you looked amazing.

"Y/N I wasn't expecting to see you here." You turned around to see the voice and to your surprise it was Jimin.

"Jimin, it's great to see you" you exclaimed.

"Same to you!" he said, "would you like a drink?"

You nodded as he guided you to the table where a assortment of liquor was placed.
You didn't want to admit anything but Jimin looked amazing. His hair was gelled back exposing his forehead and he was wearing a button up collar shirt with black pants. He was absolutely breathtaking.

"Y/N you're staring" he smirked causing you to choke on your drink.

"Oh well you look great and I.." you responded flustered.

He just laughed and brought you to the dance floor and that was where you saw Jungkook. A girl was trying to grind on him but he was practically begging her to stop which caused you to chuckle.

"Let's go save him"

"Why? I though you hated him?" you said.

"I don't hate him it's just that we were best friends in high school and then once college started he totally forgot about me. It was as if I meant nothing to him."

"Oh jimin im so sor-" you were cut off by a forceful nudge towards Jungkook. You gave the girl a glare causing her to give one back and walk away.

"Y/N what brings you here" said Jungkook completely ignoring what had just occurred before adverting  his gaze to jimin. "What's he doing here."

"It's a party stupid, anyone can come" replied Jimin.
Jungkook scowled at him before checking you out "Y/N you look stunning." There it was again your heart was racing and slowly you felt your cheeks redden. "Thank you. You look handsome as well."

"Y/N are you okay you face is a little red are you sick" said Jungkook before he placed his hand on your forehead. "Nothing its just the alcohol" you replied brushing his hand off yours.

Your eyes quickly widened as you realized you forgot about jimin but to your surprise you saw him dancing with someone else and smiled. Jungkook noticed this and snaked his arm around your waist and asked "Miss L/N would you like to dance?"

"Oh of course Mr. Jeon" you laughed as you both stayed in each others embrace.
