"Oppa, do you know the story of
deoksugung stonewall walkway?"

"Aniyo, wae?

"YAH! Lim Yoona, if you don't open the door right now, I will break it!"

"I'm sorry sir, but the person you are looking for has moved." a bellboy states, dragging the man away from the door. "It's has been around two months," he adds. Jungkook stares at him in disbelief.

"Do you, by any chance know where the resident lives?" the bellboy laughs and replies;

"We aren't allowed to ask or give away information. Sorry." Jungkook's face falls, and he leaves, the former spark in his eyes was gone. As he walks through the front doors, he kicks a rock, cursing his luck.

"They say that when a couple walks over
the bridge together,
they break up later."

"Then why are we visiting it?"

He runs towards Yoona's parent's house, banging on the door. Her mother walks out, a worried expression on her face as she sees him.

"Mrs. Lim, do you know where Yoona is?" he cries, desperately. The older woman frowns, all of her soft wrinkles displayed. She shakes her head and answers "Kook, I don't even know where her brother is. They hate me. You should go ask the Anderson's, they are her adoptive family." he hastily says a goodbye and runs off, not wanting to waste any more time than he already has.

"To prove that it's a myth."

"And what if we do break up?"

"Ah, what are are you doing here?" her older brother opens the door, eyebrows furrowed as he wonders why his sister's fiancé was doing here. As Jungkook catches his breath, he manages to spit out

"Where is she? Please, tell me!" his voice holds a small amount of desperation, which was unusual for him, for whenever he was talking about Yoona, it was never of despair, always adoration and love.

"That's the dumbest thing you have ever said to me, Kook. You know where she is, it was aired on the news already." As her brother utters those words, he falls down to the ground, sobbing, as the reality of what had happened in the last 24 hours finally catches up to him. The elder tries to calm him down, but it doesn't help.

"Yah!
Oppa, We aren't going to break up."

"But what if we do?"

As the last of his sobs stop, he shakily gets up from where he had fallen. Being the kind person her brother was, he stayed with Jungkook until he got to his senses. He rubs his tears over his face and turns to look at him.

"I'm sorry Roman, for acting like that. I-I'm just in shock from what happened. How I could've stopped it from happening!" Roman stops his rambling and engulfs him in a hug. "You and she had been dating for 8 years, and are-were engaged for 3 more, I get what you're going through. Don't ever apologize for that. You are family, whether or not she's here or not." Roman states firmly, dragging the young man into the house.

"Let's make a promise;
if either of us breaks it off for no reason,
we chase the person to get them back.
Promise?"

"Promise."

The next day was her funeral. The newspaper had written a full page (front and back) on what had happened to Yoona and others. She had gotten into an accident from when she was coming home to visit. The train's car which she was one had gone off the rail, and down into the large intersect underneath. Luckily only she and 5 others were the only ones dead, but 100 others were injured. Later on the next day, it was revealed that it was the fault of one of the crew members, who let the train go over 50 mph.

"You lied, my Yoong.
You broke it off with me,
For the worst reason,
death."

A/N Inspiration from a song with the same title, and the train incident that occurred in Washington on December 18th, 2017.
