It was a bright cold day in april, I was sitting on my padio in my backyard daydreaming of what my life would be without cancer, The doctors said it was leukemia. Im only 17, I have so many thoughts going through my head like "what if I don't make it." It was a scary thought, even though my dad didn't even support me he's to busy working. A cigarette- sucking habit is clearly one way to cause more of the pain, but the thing is I don't smoke.. It's almost dark and Im ready for bed so I rushed into my house, I told my little sister goodnight, my mom and dad weren't home so I went upstairs where my clean comfy bed was. I rushed to turn out my lights I lay in bed and stare at my ceiling where I had my glow in the dark stars, It was a bit immature but it helped me relax. I drifted off. Nothing but darkness filled the room and before I knew it I was sound asleep. I got woke up to the sound of my alarm *beep beep*  First Day of School here I come! I was almost late so I went in the bathroom and brushed my teeth and fixed my hair and makeup. I was anxious and scared at the same time, I ran downstairs just in time to see my dad waiting to take me. He looked up from his office papers and smiled and said "you ready?." I grinned and said " of course i am."
