Why would Shane say something like he love me? Did he? Hopefully not I'm not gay and never plan on being gay plus I love dd too much to let her and our love go

I drove home and told Dd to come down.
"Hey perfection!"
"Hey gurl!!!"
"What's up joey?"
"So umm I was wondering is you wanted to go to Hawaii with me!?! I'm inviting cat if that's okay."
" Yeah sure."
She said with I let down face
"Dd your not okay. I don't have to ask her"
Dds POV...
I feel like such a brat for doing that. I always thought that cat liked joey and that she hated me . in high school she was a brat and hated me . she stole everyone in the world that I loved told me I was a fat brat and im that I'm stupid !
"Joey:It's ok she does not have to come."
"Gahh... Just let her come if that's what you freaking want." I said with tears in the peaks of my eyes running to my room.
*knock knock *
"Dd can u let me in? remember I have the key!"
"What do you want joey?"
He walked into my room with some flowers and chocolates.
" I love you and only you." he kissed me but I did not kiss back.

"Dd what's wrong?"

We told everyone the news. I love joey I really do but the first person I told was cat but in a i hate you I'm getting married way.
