Chapter 4

Jenni's POV

"Harry?" I said in disbelief.

He turned around and had a shocked expression on his face. You can tell he was just as surprised to see me as I was to see him. He still looked the same...but different at the same time. Same curly hair, except now it's pushed up instead of swooping down on his forehead. Same dimples. Same smile. But his eyes, didn't sparkle as much as I remember. He looks..tired?

After a few moments of awkward silence, I finally broke the ice.

"Well, didn't expect you to be here", I said.

"I didn't expect you to be here either", he said back.

"Now that I think about it, why are you here?" I asked.

"Oh, um, I'm on tour right now with my band and we just got finished with our concert", he said.

His band. That's right. Of course I know about his band One Direction, their posters and merchandise are practically everywhere you go. I'm happy for him, he's very successful. And I've decided I'm not going to dwell on the past considering that was four years ago.

"Oh cool. So, that band of yours. I see you guys everywhere. You've made it big Styles" I said.

"Yeah, but if it wasn't all for you I wouldn't be here today with this successful career. I never got the chance to say thank you", he said.

Yeah maybe because you forgot about me.

Ugh, Jenni don't dwell on the past.

"Well, you're welcome", I said.

"So, what are you doing here? I thought by now you would be off in the city", Harry said.

"I've just been here trying to get discovered somehow. But I actually do weekly gigs here, I actually just got done with one", I said.

"Wow very cool, you always were a great singer. And I have no doubt in my mind that one daqy you'll probably be more famous than me", he said.

"I think that's nearly impossible. I mean, I see you everywhere with that band of yours", I say.

"Speaking of the band, you should really meet them sometime. They're really nice lads, they would love to meet you", he said.

"Harry, you know I'm not good with meeting new people"

"Oh come on, you'll feel as if you've known them your whole life when you first meet them", he said.

"Okay, I guess that would be cool", I said.

"Yeah, so I'll just give you my number and maybe we could go get a good burger sometime and I can take you to meet the boys", he said while writing his number on a paper.

"Harry, I'm vegetarian"

"Right, well I can get a burger and you can get a...salad?"

"Deal", I said.

He handed me the paper and we both smiled. This is nice, he's acting like the old Harry I used to know. I'm just glad the fame hasn't gotten to his head and made him a complete jerk.

"Okay, well I better go. Andrea is waiting for me over there. Guess I'll see you around", I said grabbing my coffee.

"Yeah, I'll send a text or call you to make plans soon", he said.

We both said our final goodbyes and went our seperate ways.Well that was overwhelming. After not seeing someone you used to be really close to for four years, it's pretty crazy to just see them all the sudden. I ran over to Andrea and sat down in the chair.

"You'll never guess who I just saw"

Harry's POV

"You'll never guess who I just saw", I said out of breath.

"Where?" Liam said.

"At the coffee shop"

"Who did you see?" Niall said anxiously.

"Jenni"

They all gasped.

"As in the Jenni" Zayn said.

"Mhm" I hummed.

"Well come on, tell us more details", Louis rushed.

"There's not much to say, I mean I was shocked when I saw her in the coffee shop but then we started talking and everything is almost back to the way it was. Like before", I said.

"Good lad, I'm happy for you", Liam said.

"Oh and I told her that one time soon I would introduce her to you guys", I said.

"Cool, we would all love to meet her", Zayn said.

We all talked for a little while longer and then everyone went back to their hotels. I laid there in my bed, thinking about the events of tonight. This is my chance to get Jenni back. I've missed her so much and this is probably my last chance I'll ever have to make things right between us. I know she doesn't like me in the way I like her, but my goal is to get closer and closer to her. And maybe, just maybe, I'll have a second chance to winning her love.

short update, I know, I know. I'm trying to update more often now on both of my stories so that means that each update will more than likely be shorter than they usually were. But next update will hopefull be longer, hopefully.
