I jolted up and scream a little. I grab for my glasses, my eyes adjusting to the darkness. My hot breath fogging up my glasses as I reached for the light switch. A hot sweat dripping down my back despite I was so cold.
As I lay back down trembling the memory's come flooding back. Bee's helpless scream. Bayani's soft gentle voice I believed so well. lies all lies. I slowly start so sing. a old song my grandma used to sing. I don't really know the words to it,but just mumble along to the tune. As on cue graser comes in softly mumbling the words to. as the words become more defined I can pick out phrases.
Deep in the meadow
Under the willow
Lay a bed of grass
A soft green pillow
Lay down your head
"No stop" I coo
"Okay, stay or leave," graser asks
I think for a minute
"Stay" I reply
He lays next to me and strokes my brown hair.
"I love you ari" he softly whispers in my ear
"Ditto." I say with a giggle
And I fall asleep in his arms
