A/N: So this is a little smutty one shot told from Taylor's perspective. It's my first attempt at anything like this so I feel super awkward but I hope you like it!
---.Taylor's POV.
I open the door of my house and walk in, dropping my bags beside me as I get through the threshold. I inhale the familiar smell of home and I stand still for a moment. After constantly doing something on tour, if feels amazing to just be standing here, in my foyer, enjoying the pink and orange shapes dancing across the white wall to my left as the sun sets in the distance. I'm home.
I shrug my jacket off my shoulders and slip my shoes off before walking into my living room. Grabbing a whiskey bottle and a glass in one hand, I take my phone out of my pocket. It's 5 o'clock, a perfectly acceptable time to have a drink. I hastily pour a glass and plop myself on my couch, head resting on one arm rest, one foot leaning against the other. I take a swig of my drink and check my phone again. Even though I was looking forward to some piece and quiet, I'm already feeling lonely. I stare at the background of my phone. It's a photo of Hayley and me only a couple of days ago, backstage before one of our shows. Hayley is sitting on my lap in a rugged armchair. My arms holding her waist tight, my chin rests comfortably on her little shoulder as we both smile big cheesy smiles for the camera. I laugh to myself as I think of what happened just seconds after the photo was taken.

I squeeze Hayley tighter in my arms as I lean in and start kissing her neck.
"T" she groaned quietly. "Stop it babe, we have a show in like half an hour... plus your brother is like 5 feet away".
"Like that's stopped you guys before!" Justin says with a laugh.
Hayley let's out a defeated, frustrated groan and I decide to change my tact. I unwrap my arms from her and grab both sides of her small waist and start to tickle her softly and slowly until a giggle escapes her lips. I then start tickling her with more enthusiasm and her giggles slowly grow into a full on laugh-My memory is cut short as my phone dings, it's a message from Hayley.
Missing you already!
Underneath was a video of her lying on her bed, her platinum hair fanned out around her head in a blonde mess, makeup still on, in matching red, lacy underwear, blowing me a kiss. She is perfection, and I can't believe she's finally mine. My Hayley. My gaze naturally goes straight to her chest, the curve of her porcelain skin filling out the lace perfectly, but I'm soon drawn to her face. She looks so happy, with a cheeky grin plastered on her face before blowing a big kiss to the camera with the soft lips that were on mine just hours ago. She is beautiful and radiating happiness, something I've not seen for a long time, and I like to think I'm part of the reason for that.
I send a quick selfie back, saying that I wish she was here right now and head up to bathroom for a long hot, uninterrupted shower with good water pressure. One of those luxuries you really start to miss on tour.
I stand under the stream of hot water thinking about the tour and how everything unfolded, It almost feels like a dream but maybe that's because I've dreamt of all of this happening for so long.
*Flashback*
It's 3am in the middle of the night, and we are making our way across the country in a cramped tin can on wheels they call a tour bus. I'm sitting in the back room accompanied by the only other person who shares a lovely little thing called insomnia. Even though the lack of sleep is draining, it does mean that I get to have some quality alone time with Hayley, something I've always enjoyed since I started touring. It's made us closer and closer over the years until now, it's just us, two best friends sitting here, enjoying each other's silence. I'm lost in thought as I absentmindedly stroke her hair as she rests her head in my lap while we watch late night infomercials on the tv. Hayley clears her throat and breaks the silence.
"Hey, T?" I look down and see a pained look on her face. Just as I'm about to say something she opens her mouth before quickly closing it again. She does this a few more times before finally coming out with something. She's obviously struggling to get the words out.
"Have you ever been in a situation where you really want to tell someone something. Something important, but something that will change everything and not necessarily for the better?"
What on earth is she talking about? "Are you close with this person?"
"Yes" She says instantly, without hesitation.
"Well then I think you should tell them. If it's that important and they are close with you, it's the only logical thing to do".
"But what if it ruins the friendship?" She asks quietly, playing with her fingernails.
"I'm sure they'll understand whatever it is. If its a good friendship, very few things can ruin it."
Hayley looks up and our eyes meet. We continue to sit, staring into eachothers eyes for a while until she abruptly stands up and starts to pace across the small room.
Okay, I'm officially worried now. "Hayley, what's going on?"
"T, I have to tell you something". I grab her hands and bring her back over the couch, sitting sideways on it to face her.
"What is this terrible, life changing, disaster news then?"
"I like you" She says so quickly and quietly I almost miss it.
"Well I should hope so! I like to think of us as best friends." I'm so confused, where is she going with this?
She sighs in frustration. "No, you don't understand. I'm falling for you."
