Someday, I'm gonna fall in love
And one night
A windy July night
I am gonna call him
At 12 o'clock in the morning
I'll tell him to pack his bags
I will pick him up at two
Not a big suitcase
He'll ask why
I will tell him
"We're going somewhere"
He's gonna ask where
But the truth is
I don't know where
But somewhere far
Just a night
Maybe two
Maybe we can sleep under the sky
Perhaps we'll go to a playground
Early, before the sun comes up
All alone swinging and laughing
And telling old stories
Someday I'll fall in love
I hope it's soon
For I can not wait
To pick you up two
And take you somewhere far away
