he comes downstairs and unties her just so he can hold her, feel her heart beating against his. and when he's done he kisses her and whispers that he's sorry, he's so sorry that this is how it has to be.
when he ties her back up, he ties her extra loose, because in back of his mind he's hoping she'll run away before he really ruins her.
