The journey is never ending. There's always gonna be growth, improvement, adversity; you just gotta take it all in and do what's right, continue to grow, continue to live in the moment. - Antonio Brown

Please someone give me the strength to not throw my alarm clock across the room, so that it can hit the wall and shatter in to a million pieces. I will give that alarm clock a proper burial in our backyard just to be nice.
I laid in my bed as the alarm rang over and over. I let out a soft groan as I reach over and slam my hand on the alarm clock to shut it off. I let out a sigh of relief at the silence. I don't want to ever leave this bed ever again.

"Mackenzie come on it's time to get up!" I hear my father call.

"No, and you can't make me get out of this bed." I yell hiding underneath my blanket.

"Not even for pancakes." I hear him say teasingly.

"You drove a hard bargin." I say standing up from my bed quickly and running downstairs. I go so fast I almost miss the chair when I sit down.

"Gimmie gimmie gimme." I say hungrily as I hold up my knife and fork. A plate gets set in front of me, and the plate was held by ribbons from a little cutie.

"Good Morning Sylveon." I say to her and she cheers happily and goes to sit by her bowl that's filled with her pokemon food and starts to eat.

"I'm going to miss having Sylveon with me. She's always helping out when ever I need her." I sigh as I look over to Sylveon and my dad pets her head and she snuggles against his touch.

"I'm really going to miss the love I get around here." I speak with heavy amounts of sarcasm in my tone as I glare at the back of my father's head.

"Oh she's going to miss you too sweety, as well as I really don't want you to go." My mother said entering the room in her farmer gear.

My parents and I run a sanctuary for pokemon. My grandmother was actually the one that started the whole thing, and my mother took over once my grandmother passed away. I've been taking care of pokemon ever since I could walk.

There were many different kinds of pokemon that lived in the sanctuary, some left and some stayed. We only helped pokemon until they were able to live off in the wild by themselves. On my tenth birthday I had a choice to leave home and start a journey or stay to help my family run the sanctuary. I choose to stay until we got more help from others.

My Father and I hired a few extra people to help run the place, so i felt a little more comfortable making the decision to leave. I had to help train the people before I left. My family was never against me leaving on my own, they actually encouraged me to go. I knew I was going to be fine because I had my Eevee family to help me out.

The sanctuary was a famous spot to find eevee. That's how I grew to love Eevee so much. We have a whole herd of Eevee in the sanctuary and one of them turned out to be my partner. Eevee became my best friend at such a young age that we grew up together, and now Eevee is a newly evolved Sylveon. Sylveon belongs to my mother though. Like my mother I want to have Eevee as my main partner on my journey.

Unfortunately the Eevee I picked as my partner just hatched from an egg, she's smaller than most pokemon and needed to be cared for a little longer before she can leave with me. I have my whole Eevee team to back me up though until she's ready. I really don't want to leave her but my parents encouraged me to go. I am dying to travel and see new places so I'm leaving today to go on my journey.
