Prolouge

Lila walked into the restraunt,holding hands with her boyfriend. He looked at her, squeezing her hand, it wasn't the first time she had seen his parents but he just wanted to remind her one more time "Make sure you don't embarrass us.." He whispered in her ear.

     "Oh Lord James, We'll be fine!" Lila replied, pulling her medium black hair into a ponytail. She looked back up at James,opening the door into the restraunt. They walked in and sat at the table, waiting for his parents.

      "Heyyy! Great to see you guys again!" Lila said as she jumped up to hug the older lady approaching them. The man shook her hand,formal as ever. They sat,engaging in casual conversation. Unexpectedly the lady grinned and said,
    "When should we be seeing some grandbabies out of you two?". Lila's face went red, they hadn't talked much about kids yet. They had been dating for six years already and it still felt too early.  James looked pale so Lila decided to answer for him.
       "We're hoping soon!" Lila said,grinning. She hoped James wouldn't d issaprove of the answer but she didn't have to wait long for his answer.
   James' face was bright red in anger "I sware if you ever get pregnat you better kill it or I will myself" he said. He couldn't believe she said that! In front of his parents too! He felt gazes all on him so he did the only reasonable thing. He got up and left,clenching his shaking fist.
  Lila's eyes watered, she took a deep breath. She looked at the older couple, who looked like they saw someone just get raped in front of them. "I-I' m sorry" Lila said and got up,running to go find her boyfriend.

13 months later

With one final push Lila heard the cry. The beautiful cry of a baby. After that big fight over a year ago with her and James they had taken a break for a few months until they found eachother again. They forgot protection just one time and Oops. She got pregnant, Lila wasn't mad but she still wasn't sure about James. He was shocked amd completely silent at first but over time he had grown so overjoyed and excited about the baby. He rushed over,beaming. "She's beautiful.." He said,looking lost,like he was in a trance. He snapped out of it quickly though, a smile still engraved on his face. "What should we name her?" He asked, his voice sounding so alive.

                         "Charlie"

Tbh probably won't end up finishing this but first chapter will hopefully  be up soon. I'm feeling kinda sad rn so that's why I started this book. This chapter is legit how it happened with my parents... Haha, that's sad.. Mk. GN!
