koeun looked out of her window, staring at the bustling city she's still coming to be familiar with. she picked up her phone from her study table and scrolled through her instagram. she was in fact procrastinating like any other student would do, but she only meant to look at models' and world renowned fashion designers posts as she was having an art block when she scrolled through a SuperM ad that made her smile.

she looks at the familiar faces of his seniors, or used to be seniors; her taemin oppa that she looked up to since young, her exo sunbaenims kai and baekhyun that made it hard for her to believe that she was in the same company as them when she was still a trainee as they were just out of the world amazing, and of course, the boys that he grew up with; taeyong, ten, lucas and of course, mark.

"you grew up well, my first love." she smiles fondly as she looks at his teaser picture for their debut super one. she was no doubt behind in news in the kpop action ever since she left the company and pursued a degree in art history and fashion. it was her dream when she was young and now that she was out of that god-forsaken basement, she decided to pursue the other thing she's passionate about.

she tears her glance away from the window and looks at the old polaroids pasted on her wall, something to look at when she misses home, and grabs a picture of her and mark from their first anniversary. the boy had blonde hair then, preparing for their cherry bomb comeback and while her, sporting the same black long hair as she was still a trainee. the boy had his arm around her shoulders smiling ear to ear while looking at koeun while the latter was smiling straight at the camera. "i miss you." she says weakly.

before she breaks down in to tears, her phone rang flashing an unknown number, "hello?"

"yah, when did you change your number?" the girl on the other line says, "it's me, hina."

"oh," koeun says as she sniffs. hina notices this but chose not to probe, "i left SM. too." hina says while sighing. "and the boys know about us leaving SM as well." she says, with a hint of hesistance in her tone.

she hears the other chuckle weakly, "they won't find me anyway."

"what?" hina asks, stopping in her steps. "what do you mean?"

"i'm in japan, for now." she says, biting her lower lip, a habit she developed when she's anxious. "nagoya." the other girl could only sigh, although happy because she will probably see koeun more when she comes back to japan, but still disappointed in the olders actions.

"why are you hiding, koeun? mark deserves to know where you are."

"he doesn't. not yet."
