Ketsukis POV

It's coming up to Christmas so I've decided to leave Kitkat alone. But only until Christmas is over.

December 23rd 2017

I wake up and go into our small living room, still in my pyjamas. I turn on the t.v.. a Christmas movie comes on. I change the channel and start to watch the show, it's Christmas themed. I sigh and change it back to the Christmas movie. I pause the t.v. and get a bowel of cereal. I end up watching 'how the grinch stole Christmas'. Brie wakes up halfway through. She gets cereal as well and sits down next to me. We watch Christmas movies for the rest of the day.

December 24th 2017 - Christmas eve

I wake up and wrap some presents I had bought for brie. I also wrap up a present for my mum. Truth is; as annoying as she was, I loved my mum. I did love my dad as well. But that was before he left us. I will never forgive him. After he left, I would come home to find my mum crying. I feel horrible now. My mum's probably been crying about me going to jail. With my dad leaving and me getting sent to jail she must have broke down. What have I done to her?! I don't care about other people I've hurt, but I must have hurt my mum so badly. I rush to the computer and go on a video chat app that my mum has at home. I type in her username and video call her. She answers and I see her tear stained face. "Hi mum" I say. "Ketsuki!-" My mum shout excitedly. "-the police told me that you had got out of jail. I was worried sick that you wouldn't survive out on your own." "It's alright mum, I'm fine." I say with a small smile. "Where are you?" My mum asks. "I can't tell you, sorry mum...." I reply, knowing that even though she's my mum she might still send me to jail. "..ok honey." "I'm very sorry mum. I-I didn't mean to hurt people... but it was the only way that I got noticed. I-I don't know why but whenever I... whenever I kill someone my hair goes red. And then because of my hair people noticed me and wanted to hang out with me. I'm sorry." "....It's alright honey. Just- Just promise me you won't kill anyone again." I smile sadly at my mum. "I'm sorry but I can't keep that promise." "Honey please don't kill anyone, we can get through this together. Just don't kill anyone else." My mum says hurriedly. "I have to go." I tell her. I then end the call and sigh. "Who was that?" Brie asks from the door. "My mum." I tell her quietly.
