~Tori's P.O.V~

Wait, that's it? The test is done?
That was easy.

"So....that's it? It was that easy? Are you sure?" I questioned absent mindedly.

"Yes, Tori, it was that easy. Though you did need a bit enlightenment, you pulled through. Tori, as the CEO of the W.O.S.A, I grant you acceptance. Now, follow me. We have to put this down on paper and we need witnesses. Let's go," he said in an authoritive tone.

Acceptance? L.O.L.
I didn't even say I wanted to be a part of this thing!
But...how bad could it be? I mean, maybe I'd be accepted?
Maybe I could even become a proper agent, and not just be the one behind the computer screen.
Besides, what could go wrong?
What's holding me back?

Dad.

Oh no. He doesn't know what happened. He doesn't know where I am! He'll freak and go bonkers!

"But wait! What about my dad? He doesn't know what's happened to me! He'll send out the entire FBI force looking for me!" I cry out, but Nathan just smiled.

"Don't worry, he's fine. In fact, you might be able to see him soon," he said and I let out a sigh of relief.

He walked to a book shelf and pulled a book out half way, then I think you know what happens next-the book shelf slides open.
A corridor is behind the book shelf, lit by recess lights above. Nathan walks through and I'm quick to follow.

The sound of shoes echoing on the marble floors bounces off the bland white walls. Nathan Lewise walked like a man with purpose and pride, he walked with his chin up and lips in a thin line. His brown eyes had this confident glow to it.

I struggled to keep up with his long strides so I quickened my pace to catch up with him. My muscles are sore and my eyes are drooping, I don't think I can keep up.
The long hallway finally came to an end and we walked through a door, which a long staircase was behind.
I internally groaned and followed Nathan on our wordless trek to where ever.
We finally arrive at two big wooden doors which Nathan pushed open. He walked in and I followed, to be met with the sight of a huge food court with the noise of people chattering in the air.
I froze on the spot upon seeing all these people. Everyone was clad in grey and black, chattering noisily and stuffing food down their throats; quite literally. All chattering stopped and eyes stared at us when Nathan cleared his throat and started speaking.

"Hello, Agents and Students of the W.O.S.A. and please give a welcoming round of applause to your new Agent in training, Tori Daven!"
The food court was flooded with cheers, though as my eyes roamed over people's faces I saw a few sad-cheers frowning.
I was gaping by now, only at the sheer noise of the cheers and the amount of people in the room.

Nathan raised his hands in signal for them to be quiet, surprisingly everyone obeyed and the room was silent until one special person shouted out, "YO NERDS!" and left me in a frenzy of flushed cheeks and confusion.

What just happened? Is the only coherent thought I can form.

Everyone turned towards the source of the voice, and so did I.

Alexander freaking Jackson.
AKA, my ex-crush.
I'm pretty sure my face is covered in the colour of my blood, and I can feel myself trembling with rage.

How's this for a 'fresh start', huh?
Seriously! I get a chance to redeem myself and be 'cool', but no! Someone just had to ruin it!

"What is he doing here?!" I turned and asked Nathan, trying to control my rage that is threatening to burst at its seams.
Nathan gave me a look that said 'we'll-talk-about-this-later' and returned his attention to the people.

"Adan, come to my office after lunch. Ya know what, nevermind that. You're on trash duty for a week," Nathan said in a bored tone.
But, Adan?
Am I mentally ill in the department of remembering people's names?
I hope not.

Adan exploded and said,"Seriously?! Trash duty for calling out the nerd?!"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I meant trash and laundry duty. For two weeks straight," Nathan demanded.

Is it bad that I'm picturing him on trash duty dressed as a janitor and laundry duty dressed as an old maid that got run over by a semi truck? No? I guess its normal then.

Now, the rage had dissapated and I'm trying to control my laughter, as well as the rest of the Agents in the food court. His facial expression alone can make the frowny face smile. Yah, I suck at comebacks, I know.

But Trash and laundry duty tho...
I should purposely stain my clothes and put rotten food in my trash, just to make his life harder.

I let out a snort thinking of him having to do those things.

I cannot belive I actually liked him, like wow. Ever heard of blind love? Yeah, his ass swipe of a face made me lose my eyesight and made me sell my soul to the Devil.
Just kidding!...about the Devil part.

"Please, be mature adul-humans," he corrected himself,"and do not give Tori a hard time settling in here. Rememeber your first time here?" Every one cringed as he said that.

Nathan continued to speak,"So, if I hear anything, anything at all about anyone giving Miss Daven here a hard time, you'll be getting something much, much more worse. And I mean it. Until dinner, Tori will have a chance to properly introduce herself. Goodbye, and please behave," And he led me towards a door in a corner.

Welp, my life is already out of my control. Imma just go with the flow, I guess.

I strolled behind him, my mind an unfocused haze, my brain not thinking properly. It was as if there was a fog around it, and I just figured I needed time to absorb the information, that's all.

But seriously, why is 'Adan' here?
And why is his name Adan instead of Alexander? Huh. I guess it must be a part of the whole 'spy agency' thing.

I didn't notice that we walked into another office until Nathan cleared his throat.
He sat down at the desk and motioned for me to take a seat, and I comply.

He starts blabbing about something, I can't bring myself to do anything but nod my head absent mindedly.
Snippets of his voice and what he's saying filters through my head, the only parts being,"...so to become...official....sign here," and that gave me a jolt to reality.

I hummed and said,"Uhh, I didn't quite get that. Repeat?"
Nathan just gave me a pointed look and a sigh and said,"Just sign your name. Its not like you have a choice, anyway," the fog in my mind slowly returned as I picked up the pen and slowly signed my name.

"...well...Tori...you've been accepted..."

I hummed in response again, this time my head swaying to the sides. My heavyness on my eyelids feel too great to fight against, and my head droops as I fall into oblivion, with one thought on my mind.

Acceptance.
