Jades pov:

I was with my mom it was when I use to be a good girl before I meet him

It was summer and here in LA it gets very hot I have a older brother and and younger brothers and sister who are twins

But out of all of them I was more of a goodie two shoes and did everything I was told which sometimes backfired

"So skyline did you get in A on your math test oh and did you talk to your biology teacher about your grade and extra credit "my mom asked

"Of course mom "

Everything got Awkward and silent we were making family diner because dad is coming home early from the military his been fighting a lot of wars and helping bring other soldiers back that were captured

I haven't seen him in awhile but he was my everything

We set up all the silverware ,plates and stuff but in the middle of that there was a knock at the door

We all thought it was dad

I ran to the door but when I opened it I saw a man in a dark suite but it had military badges

"Hello may I help you "

"Yes are you the caniff family "

"Yes..."

"I'm so sorry to say this but your father has been captured and we don't think he will survive "

He couldn't meet my eyes but nothing mattered at the moment

My everything could be gone and I couldn't do nothing about it

I turned around to see my mom crying and my older brother trying not too cry

My little brother and sis were to young only 3 years old to understand what's happening

But that was 5years ago and I never heard anything about it ever sense I was 11

But mom on the other hand found someone else , when we didn't even know if he was dead or not and sure enough that back fired

I was coming home from school when I walked in I saw a sight that I thought I would never see again

My dad

But it was different he had tears in his eyes but then I saw my mom crying but not close to my dad he must have found out

I don't remember much after that except yelling lots of yelling and tears my mom would fight with my dad all the time mostly about the guy she meet when my dad was captured

Until one day it went to far when I walked in on my mom cheating on da with the guy

He made me keep what happened a secret or else I would get hurt

I didn't tell dad until I couldn't keep it in anymore I screamed it out loud that mom heard and looked at me like I was dog shit on your favorite shoe

I have lost my mother and that night I was taken away with my dad and siblings and moved near my uncles house and that were I meet my cousin Taylor and at that time I was 14

And he started everything
