In The Middle - Lucas x Marcus Fanfic(Discontinued)

Chapter 1

Marcus POV

(Play the song and pay attention to the lyrics)

"🎶🎶 I didn't wanna fall in love with you, I didn't wanna know the things I knew.....🎶🎶"

I relate to that song. Well, it's Christmas and he is just cuter in the holidays. All I want For Christmas Is You has kinda been my jam this year. And Denial.

"Marcus. Marcuuuus!!!" I heard through the headphones. "Marcus come dinner's ready." The family was gathered at the table. By family I mean mom,dad,Cyrus,Darius and us. No one else could make it. Well I sat down next to Lucas trying not to think about him.

Dinner went by faster than I thought. I managed to get him out my head but there were times when he would move and I would get nervous.

I don't know how this whole thing started. But I guess we've spent our lives with one another. And Lucas is just so flirty. He is sweet and goofy and all that. He just makes me laugh. I  better stop thinking about it before I start crying. He's seen me crying many times but I always brush it off.

"Marcus?" said Darius. "What's up? You seem a bit off."
"It's just Lu....." I trailed off almost spilling my biggest secret"It's nothing" I lied. "You sure? You've been like that lately." Sometimes I feel like I could tell him but it's best if I don't. "Yeah,it's cool." I answered
"Ok.. So what are you going to do for the next video?" and we talked a bit afterwards.

I haven't seen Lucas in a while. I got up to search for him. "Hey" I heard from behind me. "Oh there you are"
"Yeah I was at the bathroom. What's up?"
"Nothing. I'm just bored." At least we can hang out.
"Well it's late. I was gonna go to sleep. You coming?"(btw the story takes place in the dobre house and LA)
"Yeah sure." I smiled.

"Yeah. You remember?" I laughed
"We had so much fun that day" he replied. We do this every night. We lay together just talking about this and the other. I miss those days when there wasn't this feeling that makes feel so uncomfortable.
"Well I'm tired. I'm gonna go to sleep. Night." he said and left my side to go to his bunker
"Goodnight" I replied and tried to fall asleep

A couple of days ago we filmed the Christmas Dares video where we pranked people with the mistletoe. At one point Lucas held it over us and all I wanted was to just kiss him. Then he came closer but I knew I couldn't do it. That would ruin everything. I didn't realize it but I was crying. He always does stuff like that which give me hopes.And since we are together all the time I can't look for signs.

-The next day-

"Good morniiiiing" Lucas shouted jumping on me
I fell off the bed and he fell on top of me
"Fuck" I thought to myself
"Good morning" I said looking him in  his eyes
"C'mon,we have a video to shoot"
"Oh yeah I forgot" But he just stayed there.
"Are we going or what?" I asked getting more uncomfortable with each second
"Um yeah. Let's go"

We got in the car.
M:"So what's the new video gonna be?"
L:"I thought we could build a gingerbread house with our 'little sister'(I don't know her name, if you do let me know)"
M:"Oh cool. Btw when are we going back to LA?"
L:"I dunno. Cy and Dari said tomorrow, we could stay tho"
M:"No. Let's go back"
L:"As you wish"

Ten minutes later we arrived at the gym. Our little sister was waiting there.  We got done with the video in about an hour and headed home.

Mom was in the kitchen.
Aurelia:"Hey poochies"
Both:"Hi mom"
A:"How did it go?"
L:"It was fine."
M:"I'm going to take a shower" I changed the subject
A:"OK me and Cyrus are going to the grocery store, your dad's at the gym and Dari is upstairs"

I got in the shower and the first thing that came to my mind was that time we did the ChapStick Challenge. We kissed and I played it off because we were on camera. Our fans noticed that Lucas went for it and got happy afterwards but I'm sure it wasn't like that. Anyway I just washed myself and got out, I wasn't in the mood.

I got in our room and changed not paying much attention to what I put on. I started going down the stairs and before I realized it, I tripped and fell all the way down. Lucas was on the couch.

L:"Marcus? Oh my god! Are you alright?" He came over me. I was quite dizzy
M:"Yeah I'm fine" I said putting my hand on his shoulder
L:"Are you sure?"
M:"Yeah"
Then I looked him in the eye and just went for it. I kissed him. And I think he kissed back.
