Introductions

Elsa and Anna giggled as they dragged a reluctant Hiccup to the red-haired girl. The trio quickly reached the woman and Anna introduced herself first. "Hi! I'm Anna. This is my sister Elsa and our friend Hiccup."

Merida looked at them and opened her mouth before something heavy dropped on her foot. Merida cursed and looked down to see her brothers fighting over a toy. "Hamish, Hubert and Harris! Go play somewhere else!"

Her three brothers scurried away tumbling and laughing. "Wee devils, they are!" Merida mumbled under her breath. She looked back at the three. "I'm Merida."

Anna laughed. "I've never met you before. Do you know anyone here."

Merida nodded. "There's Repunzal, her boyfriend Eugene, Jack, and a couple other."

"Woah! You know Repunzal? How'd you guys meet?"

Merida shrugged. "Long story."

Anna glanced at Hiccup who was rubbing his arms awkwardly. "Flynn and Hiccup go way back too. I'm surprised you guys don't know each other." Anna pushed Hiccup forward. "You guys can talk about it. We don't mind. The longer, the better considering the two hours we have until 12:00."

Merida looked at Hiccup. Hiccup awkwardly waved. Feeling a jab at his back, Hiccup quickly added, "Yep! I have nothing better to do."

Merida looked at him sighing. "Sure. Follow me."

The trio followed Merida over to the food area. She grabbed a few pieces from the deserts. The others followed. They all ate with their fingers. Elsa was more neat than the others.

Merida started talking. "We met before Eugene and her started dating. This was also when she had her long, blonde hair. I was dragged to a clothing store by me mom. I heard a girl arguing with another person. I heard later that Repunzal was taken and given to another family for something. I don' know what but, Repunzal says that her real parents were falsely accused. We never spoke to each other. The only reason we began to talk to each other was because Jack agreed to help Eugene win her heart. In the end, the two fell in love and somehow, Eugene got Repunzal to cut her hair that she never wanted to cut. Her hair was also died into a brunette color. That's kinda it."

Hiccup, Anna, and Elsa felt kind of awkward. They weren't sure if it was alright that they knew when Repunzal didn't tell them. Merida saw them and waved her hand as if trying to make something go away.

"Don't worry. Although Repunzal hasn't met you guys long, I know she trusts you. Also, she told me that if we ever asked, it was alright to tell you. She isn't trying to hide anything. That's what I like about her."

The trio smiled. "I wonder why I haven't heard that from Flynn though? We've known each other for forever." Hiccup questioned.

Merida shrugged. "Dunno. Guess he loved Repunzal enough to keep silent about her past."

Hiccup nodded. "I guess."

An awkward silence passed. Anna decided to pull the group toward the Christmas tree and talk complete nonsense. Merida looked uninterested. Hiccup was zoned out but occasionally glanced at Merida. Elsa looked back and forth between Merida and Hiccup anxiously. Anna felt like tensions were high and continued to talk about random things.

A loud bell interrupts the chaotic room. Repunzal's parents appeared at the top of the stairs. They stood and talked to the audience. They thanked the people who came. They mentioned that the clock finally struck 12:00 meaning it is officially Christmas. Everyone cheered and gift baskets were passed around.

Anna and Elsa laughed. "Merry Christmas!" they yelled. The two pulled each other into a hug. They held tightly before letting go. Anna left to get some chocolate and Elsa laughed at her. Elsa took a step back before she tripped. She fell before cold hands grabbed her and pulled her up.

The man who held her had similar platinum hair and blue eyes. They both stared at each other. "S- Sorry... " Elsa whispered.

The man smiled brightly. "No problem. A beautiful woman like you should watch where you walk. I won't be here next time to save you."

Elsa blushed and frowned. She pulled herself up and dusted off imaginary dirt. "Thank you for your help."

He laughed. "No problem. My name's Jack. What's yours?"

Elsa looked up at him surprised. "Jack?"

"The one and only."

Elsa stared at him before realizing that he asked for her name. "Oh! Elsa! I'm Elsa."

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." Elsa blushed at his comment. "I would love to keep you company but someone needs my help. See ya!" Elsa watched as Jack walked off in a daze.
