Reiko
"Are you really up for this task Reiko?" My mother asked smirking at me as we stood in our kitchen.
I've been born into the music industry and I love it. I want to follow in my mother's footsteps bringing out names and making them big. I want to make stars!
"Yeah of course!" I replied to my mother smirking back. Finding talent would be a piece of cake!
"You have a month from now. You better get started." My mom brought her lips to my ear. "It's harder than you think it is."
I looked at her confused. "What do you mean?"
"Talent can be easy to find, but convincing that talent to work with you, difficult. Not everyone wants the world to see their music. You have to be amazing at convincing." My mother warned me.
That wasn't going to be a problem for me.
My phone vibrated and I looked at the text that flashed on the screen.
"I'm outside your house."
~ DuckButt"Okay. I'm coming."
~ Reiko"Sasuke's outside." I told my mom as I texted him back.
"I know that boy is crushing on you. He isn't bad looking at all. Go for it." My mother gave me and encouraging smile.
"No. I'm going to prove to myself that a girl and guy can have a friendship that won't turnout into a romantic relationship." I gave her a confident look and she scoffed.
"When another girl and him start talking, it's gonna hurt a lot... Just warning you." My mom said and I grabbed my bag leaving the room.
Saying things like that will make me feel like I have to date him. Not a yes or no, but a have to.
I opened my front door revealing Sasuke Uchiha.
He pulled out one of his earbuds and gave me his famous straight face.
I admired his facial structure. He had cute dark eyes with onyx coloured hair. His hair reminded me of a duck butt and I know I'm not the only one.
The sides of his mouth curled up. "Like what you see?"
I looked at him and nodded. I gripped his hand that held the earbud and he lightly blushed. "Yeah. Can I have these? I lost my earphones." I asked him and Sasuke returned his face to its normal expression and cleared his throat.
"No. I need these." He gave me a frustrated look. He was embarrassed.
I smiled. "We got a train to catch."

Sasuke was pretty silent as we sat on the train.
I cleared my throat. "I have to find the next big thing for the music business."
Sasuke looked at me and leaned back. "So you are actually serious about following your mother's footsteps."
"I've always been. It kinda scared me when my mom said I should be good at convincing. I think I am." I smirked. Sasuke sighed and sat up.
"Convince me on why you should have these earphones." Sasuke held the green wires in his hand.
I put on a thinking face. "I need them for school purposes."
Sasuke shrugged his shoulders. "I need them for school too."
"Uhh.. I'm cute?" I said and Sasuke's cheeks tinted a light pink.
"Uh- Well I'm cuter than you I think." Sasuke replied.
"You think?"
"OKAY! The main thing you need to know is that you are horrific at convincing." Sasuke stated annoyed with me and a dark aura surrounded me.
"I tried." I groaned.
"First of all, to be good at convincing you must understand the situation. Without background information, you'd be running into battle blindly. Second of all, avoid an argument at all costs. It will just annoy the other person over time if you are fighting them to get them on your side. Thirdly, you need to respect the other person's opinions and don't deny their logic. Fourthly and most important of all, get them to agree with you as soon as you can. Prolonging the situation gives them a chance to think and you will most likely get denied." Sasuke finished.
"How do you know all of this?" I questioned.
"Well when you hate almost everything and don't really like anything, your ideals differ from a lot of people. You need to know how to make people see your way." Sasuke shrugged placing his earphones back in.
He was something else.
Sasuke quickly got up.
"Wait, why is the school there and the train's going this way..?" Sasuke questioned.
I stood beside him and covered my mouth. We missed our stop! My mom will kill me if I'm late!
Sasuke started to tie his shoes. "I hope you are ready to run." Sasuke stated as the train slowed down.
When do I ever like to run.
When the door opened, Sasuke was gone.
I stood there shocked looking around. "Where'd the duck go?!" I questioned. I looked to my right to see a far away figure blazing into the distance.
I sighed in frustration and started my run. I'm so out of shape.
I slowed down exhausted and my ears caught an interesting beat. I followed the sound and saw a homeless man making beats with containers and sticks.
He's good.
I pulled out a dollar and gave it to him.
He gave me a small smile and returned to his drumming.
He'd be a good star...but solo drummers don't really get much notice compared to vocalist.
What a waste of precious talent. I continued my run towards the school.
Yeah... I'm probably going to be late.
