It was the class before lunch and I was getting my books out of my locker for my next class when a girl with straight blond hair and blue eyes came up to me.
"Hey your the new girl, aren't you? I'm Katherine but you can call me Kat."
"hey, ya I'm Sorcha" I say with a smile and continue to get the books out of my locker.
"Can I see your timetable, just to see if we have any other classes together" she asks me, any other classes I wonder what she meant "sure here you go, what did you mean any other classes?" I reply as I hand her my timetable. I look at her face to see if I can recognize her but nope can't think of where I saw her before
"We are in the same English class, you know the one you called David a troll in?" I laugh at the memory and not my head smirking. "That's his name ?" I ask while letting a chuckle slip past my lips. She laughs along with me while I close my locker door. "Anyway, why did you knee Luke in the balls? you have some serious guts for doing that" she says . I wonder who's Luke, I don't kno- oh wait I do, which one is he though. "which one is Luke?"i ask and she looks at me in confusion "We're in the same biology class now want to walk together?" "sure but seriously which one is Luke?" i ask as we start to walk to biology completely confused because i don't know which one of the two boys I kneed in the balls is which.
"Luke is the one that you kneed in the... you know.... his little friend... in front of your locker this morning. Why who is the other person you kneed?" she asks with a confused look on her face. "There was his friend that i kneed in the balls, he had light brown hair and blue eyes and he was fairly tall" as I describe him Kat's face starts to pale and by the time I've finished I'd say she was paler than me and that was hard to beat. "Kat are you okay? You look pale" I say and pull her with me to the wall because she had just stopped in the middle of the hall. i clap my hands in front of her face and she finally snaps out of whatever kind of weird trance she was in. "You can't do that to him, he's going to be your-" she gets interrupted when someone bumps into her shoulder. " What do you mean that i can't do that to him, I already did. What were you about to say? He's going to be my what?" She gives me a glance but then shakes her head. " C'mon, we are going to be late" she says and starts to drag me to our next class.

The rest of the day passes in a quickly. I sat beside Luke in biology, after him making a few dozen perverted remarks and me reminding him of the threat it was alright and i started texting the lads back home. I ate my lunch with Kat and she showed me around the rest of the school and now I was on my way home.
"Mom dad I'm home" I call into the house while putting my bag down and taking off my shoes. "In the kitchen" my mom calls out. I walk in and find them both sitting down at the table giving each other nervous glances.
"Is something wrong?" i ask them as they become more figity. They take one final glance at each other before mom finaly lets out a sigh. with one final glance at dad she turns to look at me. "Take a seat Sorcha" she says gesturing to the seat across from the both of them.
"We have something to tell you, a secret that we have been keeping from you for a long time and we're not sure how your going to take it." with a final glance at dad and another sigh she turns back to me and finaly says it.
"Sorcha..................................................................................................................................we're werewolves."
