chapter 2

Cheza liked to give yun fei the run around, however unlike yan da who made him fetch things she would hide and he would be stuck looking for her.
He was starting to get very good at it too.

Yan da had gone to argue with her father and brother about her daughters involvement in the war and hadnt yet returned.
Cheza was taking full advantage of her mothers absence to explore, somtimes she would wait just inside the forest with two horses for yun fei to find her before jumping onto hers and taking off making him have to do the same or loose sight of her.

Yun fei sighed why did he have to look after such a wild woman, though knowing who her mother is dose explain a few things....
She would take any opportunity to get out of camp but nooo asking him to come would be too easy she just had to make him find her first.
Well its not like she is malicious so its not too bad just a bit annoying at times.

Cheza was reveling in the wind and the new sights today she planned to see a village, she hadnt told yun fei that because she knew he would  opose,  she let her horse run across the feild before slowing him down just before a small village.

Yun fei groned, this was asking for trouble, he should have know she would plan this eventually.

"No"
She pouted at him.
"We are alredy here"
"No your mother will kill me when she finds out"
She looked up at a tree thinking for a moment.
"If you escort me through the village i will spend all day tomorrow in mothers tent, thats a whole day all to your self"

Yun fei was torn, this was a bad idea but a whole day of not tracking her down did sound bliss.
"Fine but no disappearing acts"
She answered quickly.
"Alright i will hold your hand so i cant possibly get away"
She dismounted and held her hand out to him.
He took it and they led the horses with them through the main street,
Cheza was keen to look at everything soon they came across a glass blower and cheza handed yun fei her raighns and started talking to the man.
Next thing yun fei saw was cheza blowing glass as the man instructed.
She made two a cat that took a bit of fiddling and a large lion.
The man looked to be in shock she took her creations and storned them in her saddle bag before taking her raighns back and slipping her hand back into yun feis.
"What happened to not letting go?"
She hummed.
"That was a special occasion you will understand later"
She hummed and they continued.
She stopped at a jewlery booth and looked at the pretty things.
But pouted at how it was all  boring gold making yun fei snicker.
Soon there was nothing left to see and as promised they went back.
Cheza pulled him into the tent excitedly.
"Close your eyes"
He sighed and did so.
Suddenly he felt her take his hand and put the palm up then somthing cool touched his hand.
His eyes poped open and he saw the glass lion.
"For you, mines a tiger but stripes where hard, i used my magic to make them!"
Disguised it in the flame the mortal was useing"
Yun fei could feel the power in it and gently tucked it into his pocket he smiled a tiny smile and behind his back he formed ice, he then pulled it out and swiftly clipped it around chezas neck.
"For the lion"
Cheza was enamored with it.
"Wow its almost like ice! And feels cool, This glass necklace is the best thank you!"
She threw her arms around the man smiling happily.
He patted her head gently.
Later he went to his own tent and slept quickly.
Cheza stayed up for a while fingering the cool surface of the necklace smiling happily.
