Chicago was divided into five factions. Abnegation (altruistic) Cordials (friends), Dauntless (brave), Candid (true) and Erudite (smart). At about 3 decades that Chicago was transformed into the government factionsthat Divergent's fans admire.
This story will unfold on thebegining of factions in early Chicago against the new government. They don't know what divergent individuals are (people who belong to more than one faction, usually two) and the company has any knowledge of such humans may exist.
