Everything seemed so silent when you first opened your eyes. The silence was defeaning to you, it made you feel unsafe.
Your eyes weren't used to being opened anymore. It hurt to look out of them, but you were determined to get atleast a glimpse of your surroundings.
Even though your eyes were spread wide the world around you was black. This made panic shoot through your veins. You wanted to move but somehow you couldn't. Your body wasn't moving and your mind was empty, the only thing you knew was that you were awake.

Slowly white spots started to invade the black before your eyes. You could felt your heart pounding in your chest and adrenaline shooting through your body.
The defeaning silence turned into soft murmurs. You weren't able to make out any words, but you knew that there were people around you. You knew that you heard the voices before, you just couldn't put your finger on them.

"Water." You heard your own voice leaving your mouth. Your voice was weak and raspy, but it was there. You felt something cold touch your lips, a glass. The rim of the glass was slightly wet and moistened up your lips. The one who held the glass against your mouth slowly let some of the cold liquid drip into your mouth as you opened it.

The first thing you could make out was pitch black hair. The owner of that hair was the one holding the glass to your mouth, that is what you assumed atleast.
A cold feeling went through your throat as you drank. Soon the glass left you lips.
"Sebastian." He was the owner of the black hair. He had to be.

A large hand got placed on your cheek. Eyes came to your vision too, red ones. A nose and lips soon followed, confirming your suscpicions.
"Sebastian." You repeated. He nodded at you with a ghost of a smile playing around his pale lips.

"Sebastian get out of the way." The voice was clear and so was the owner. Sebastian removed his hand from your cheek and stepped aside, allowing his young master to step forward.
"[Y/N]." Ciel Phantomhive spoke your name like it was the most fragile thing in this entire world and he had to handle it with care. "You're finally awake." He stated. You just nodded as response.

"What do you remember?" Another voice joined into the conversation. Your eyes followed the sound of the new voice only to be met with yet another familar face. Yellow eyes observed you behind rectangular glasses.

For a few moments the room turned completely silent, every pair of eyes still focussed on you. The silence didn't last long as you decided to speak up again.

"Everything."

"Good." Sebastian's voice followed yours. "Then I think it's better to tell you where you are and why you are here."
"Of course," you agreed, "but can you first help me sit up?" Before Sebastian was able to get to you, Ciel was already pulling you up in a sitting position. You grimaced as you felt a sharp pain in your side, but you didn't make a sound. The memory of the knife getting slammed into your body flashed through your head.

"Are you okay?" The Earl asked as he saw your face. You dismissed the question with a simple gesture of your hand. Ciel gave you one last worried look before turning his attention towards his demon butler as a sign for him to start is explanation.

"First of all, we are currently staying in one of my master's vacation resorts in Germany. We have been here for exactly three weeks and five days." You observed your hands while you listened to Sebastian's explanation, fiddling around with your fingers and the silky sheets.

"I am afraid that you are currently not safe in England and have to stay in Germany for a while, if not longer. The brother of your former butler is not pleased with you being alive, nor is the family he is part of." You glanced at Sebastian for a few seconds before looking down again.

"Are they that dangerous that we can't even be in England?"

"I think we've already told you that the Belrose family is a family of royal demons and are extremely powerful. You can't underestimate them." Claude spoke up from besides you.

"Then why do you think we'll save in Germany?" Your eyes were directed at the Trancy butler while your melodic voice left your mouth.

"Germany isn't ruled by demons, it is one of the few places on earth that is protected by angels. Demons like Michaelis and I are allowed to enter, we're only forbidden to make contracts and feed here. The royal family is forbidden in its' entirety." Claude finished his last sentence with a small, short-lasting smile.

"I see." You mumbled. "Then I'll stay here as long as neccesary."  You turn your attention towards Ciel, noticing how he was not wearing his eyepatch. "I asume you have business to attend to in England, Earl Phantomhive." The dark haired boy shook his head.
"Not right now. Perhaps I will in the future, but I'll stay atleast until you've recovered from the attack." He didn't show it on his face, but you knew that those words were meant in all kindness. You gave him a small nod before turning back to the others.

"Now, where is Alois Trancy?"
